    Why not wait abit more.
This late March, Yonex would release 88D/S Pro/Tour/Games.
As usual from Yonex, it come with bunch of new tech.
    New frame
    Enchanted RGS
    New Material
    New Color

Tho most likely its just marketing thing, well you could brag to your friend with the newest tech & color to your friends.

for the current old vs new color, spec wise its just repaint. Tho some racket review measure it abit different, it could be just manufacturing tolerance error.
& for the upcoming 88, (again) spec wise it come with some new tech. Tho im kinda doubt it would be that much different, afterall Yonex Marketing man are just to good with their job. At worst if all 3 are the same, you had 3 color option to choose. 3 still better than 2 right:D or 3 will makes you confused due to many color you like:confused:.

My Wallet has already started crying, 88D is my go to Racket. so the Pro will be a no brainer I will get it.

On the plus side I wanted to buy another 88D for when the string breaks so here we go, my brain has already justified it :)

Yes it is definitely stiffer than the original one, however, I do not have any tools to measure the balance but it feels slightly more heavy head due to the stiffer shaft.

I would probably say that it is the same. the difference in the stiffer shaft is most likely that the older racket you are using has been played more so the shaft is not as stiff as when it is fresh.

I would probably say the 88dpro is a definite upgrade from the 88d in terms of judging it in fitting a doubles game.

If you play a singles game, then the 88d would not be too bad since it has a bit more power compared to 88dpro

In my opinion the pro series made the rackets lean on even more to the doubles requirement. But the original S and D is also good for singles.

    is it real???
i thought it's only my feeling or just a myths about a racket become bit flexier in time of usage.

it is pretty logical right? when you are constantly playing with the racket, it is the shaft that flexes the most when you hit it. So it is quite straight forward that with constant bending over time the stiffness decreases. But the decrease is only very minimal compared to when the racket is fresh. Its just basic wear and tear, rackets loose their life over time, even with just you breaking and restringing strings degrades the frame.
Thats why it is important to do the upkeep of rackets like changing gromets more frequently and check for cracks etc.
