If not for China's sudirman loss to Korea in 2017, we might not have see this XD pair of ZSW/HYQ, and both seems to improve much in consistency and calmness. Gold medal waiting for this pair.
Yes, but ZSW/HYQ at their best is not losing to any other pair in the world. HYQ absolutely dominated the net, very hard to beat when she does that.
I agree totally. But the INA pair didn't do anything. I mean there were shuttles next to them but they just let them go. I expected them to have more enthusiasm to return each and every shuttle for the Olympics. I expected them to turn into a sort of Vittinghus (ok I exagerated a bit) but still. Although for me Watanabe is the best male in XD
I agree, the effort just wasn't there. Watanabe is probably the most talented male XD player, but I think ZSW is still better right now. Watanabe needs to keep improving his smash.
But why? I fail to understand why! Even if they are tired or not fit - they could still make an effort. It's like they don't want to play. It was a bit painful to watch. His smash is ridiculously good already though now.
