Congrats Ginting for Bronze in Tokyo'2020.

All that talent and finally something worthy to show for them.

Continuing the bronze -> Gold trend, can Ginting bag Gold in Paris'24.

Ginting has 3 years to prepare for Paris
He will (should) be one of the favorite there

Yeah, along with Momota and Axelsen these 3 should be favorites. Interesting to see how they will match each other after this Olympics. The aura of invincible Momota had before, shouldn't intimidate them anymore. But sure Momota will be back stronger and hungrier than ever, Ginting has to step up his game to the challenge.

Any other young players will be a threat for the next Olympics? I can only think Antonsen and SYQ for now. CL and CTC will be caught up by age

Lee Zii Jia, MAS All-England champion is another threat.

All England champion only because China and Indonesia didn't participate. LZJ is vastly overrated.

I'm still wondering how Ginting seemed to lose fairly tamely to Chen Long? He was getting a lot of smash winners, and scored many points from deceptions but still fell so far behind, especially in game 2. CL didn't seem to do anything special and played solidly as usual, but I did notice Ginting making quite a few unforced errors.

    Am I missing anything else?

This was Ginting at his 40 percent in the Olympics, unfortunately!

2024 is too far away. Even 2019 when people expect Momota to win Gold, it never comes to fruition.

Personally, i dont see him getting Medal again so this is his chance to bag one. Received 1.5 Billion Rp (150,000SDG +~) for Bronze. Nice bonus just from GV and still not other entities.

He should join Victor sparring in Dubai. No one can beat him in pelatnas.
