No Indonesia flag this time, Wada ban is effective immediately

Very f**k up management by Indonesia doping body and sport minister.

Something about failing to complete WADA’s rule about doping tests and facilities. So Indonesia can’t use national flag or host tourneys (idk if it’s final already but some news covered it)

According to badkintontalk, the decided tournament can still be held, my take is around 2022, there will be no international badminton tourney in Indonesia.

Sorry and not so sorry to say I'm, glad SYQ got punished for his actions.
Also he should feel bad for his country's lost ... whether it's his or not his fault.

It's something he knew he didn't try hard for and didn't show sportsmanship for.

Haven’t watched SYQ v Momota match yet, but from GC commentary, it looks like nothing was actually happen to SYQ, before 20-5 and then suddenly forfeited? That’s effed up if true.

Intermezzo......Congratulations to Loh Kean Yew for winning the Yonex Dutch Open 2021, beating Laskhya Sen 21-12, 21-16. The Dutch Open is downgraded to an IC tourney now (from GP level or Super 100 tourney).

Different with Russia and almost similar with Thailand. No sample delivered to Wada for doping check. The main reason used for Indonesia doping body not to sent is because no match because of covid, which Wada find it unacceptable.

The other reason also because no local lab can test the sample

He's such a curious case. Even before his family tragedy, he really never lived up to his potential post Asian Games. The last two days, he showed what he's actually capable of. Thunderous smash (419 kph is the sencond highest I've seen), net shots as good as humanly possible, fast, and cool under pressure. I'm so excited to see how he will fare in the upcoming individual tournaments.
