Damn. This could have been a deserved semi final or even final for him. :(
Any interview yet on how serious it is?

He will probably post on insta soon, just hoping the injury isn't serious, he is just coming back to his groove.

how come you are so confidently with your ‘what if ‘ . Why just you made so many reasons to unvalidate CYF as olympic champion . Your “what if” sounds that PV Sindhu should be the champion but the reality is not . She lost to TTY and TTY lost to CYF . I believe since the olympic only once in 4 year , and extra year credit to the pandemic , all the players made preparation to beat their OPPONENTS .

We all know that PVS has a good records in big tournaments but it doesnt means it will stay forever. If she really mortal during big tournament the olympic gold medal will be hers since Rio Olympic 2016 . We just had to know that every players have their ups and downs .

And , after CYF lost to PVS at World Championship 2019 , but then she won at the World Tour Final 2019 . I think we all agree that World Tour Final also one of big tournament since its offer the biggest prize money . So the encounter between them always 50-50 .

same goes to ASY . Just admit the cleverness of ASY when she win against PSV . They both work hard on how to beat each other , I believe they took this tournament seriously since there are not many BWF tournament this year . Give credit to her achievement when she won against PSV .

I believe this lost will be great lesson to PSV and all of the top 10 WS . As I clearly remember Morten Frost said that “ She sent a clear message to all the top 10 about her winning today . And also I remember Steen Pedersen rated ASY as the best player for Sudirman and Uber Cup this year . Although I m not a fan of ASY , I do agree with these proffesional commentators .

To be honest , I do felt bad for CYF as the die hard fans of TTY and PSV made 1000000 reasons to unvalidate her gold medal . They said that it was a luck to has easy route to final . Good luck is when opportunity meets preparation .

Did you even watch PV vs CYF in WC'19? Can you look at the score and come back?

I watched that game . Even CYF also reflect her lost against PVS and made preparation when they met again at world tour final . And She won that game .

Here is the post that CYF made upon her lost to PVS . She was affected by the lost since the score really poor but she learnt from it and win the next meeting .

If she can accept her lost , why as a fan you cant accept when other players beat your favourite player?
I will stop the arguement here , because there is no point if you cant accept the reality and keep saying what if .

Lee CY won the match. He has a more extraordinary playing style than CTC so it will be more enjoyable if he plays Axelsen.

I promise this is the last comment from me .
    Mind you that

“ AY would have thrashed CYF “
    H2H record during olympic
9-8 (CYF won the latest meeting between them)

    - “lucky for CYF she faced TTY whose style suits her “ H2H 14-3 ( CYF won 2/3 last match between them )

-way PV demolished CYF in the latest major tournament they met i.e WC'19 there isn't much to guess there on how bad CYF would lose
H2H 6-4 (CYF won the last meeting between them)

*mind you as Steen and Morten said that AY beat the very tired CYF during Sudirman and Uber Cup hence the reason CYF cant neutralize AY game . Non stop tournaments since august Olympic , China National Games in Sept ( 2 weeks for team and individual event) and without a rest they fly to Finland a day after National Games ended . Anyway kudos to AY for her win against CYF . I believe she will comeback stronger .

All of the chinese players didnt have systematic training like other countries as preparation for Sudirman and Uber Cup . Because since they finished the 21days quarantine after olympic , they rushed to Shaanxi for National Games . And only prepare for Sudirman/thomas uber since they arrived to Finland. So , their achievement at the Sudirman/ Thomas Uber despite all of the shortcoming should be recognised from all of the badminton fans around the world .

I don't understand the logic of Organisers. They even allowed spectators to tap the hands to the players but no hand shake with players and umpires who had proper vaccinations. Lol
