Tbh, I didn't think she would win before the match coz of her recent form. But then I thought Yamaguchi will be fatigued both mentally and physically due to these tiring three weeks, so I thought there is a chance. I started watching the match and felt Sindhu played better than before (these 2 weeks).
Another edge of the seat thriller!! How many time have we been seeing AA playing spectacular, but non stop badminton leading up to major event, and eventually getting injured/out of form in the major event, and PVS doing the exact opposite. Hasn’t Bird Japan taken a note of this?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Her shot selection and quality got better and better every match this week. Hope we get to watch a good final tomorrow regardless of who wins.
Me neither, given AY's recent form and PV had to play a marathon match yesterday, PV not in her best fitness but I think she is getting there slowly. AY was huuge favourite, must applaud PV for stepping up her game once again. Also AY for the wonderful match, she didn't look as fatigued as I expected, she is the fitter of the two.
Fitness or finesse, so many mistakes I edited a few times. Good to see PVS overcame this today. Congrats! Need to get rested fast for tomorrow.
Just player's choice. Yamaguchi can skip tour 1000, look at the draw and just skip it, and play all out in WTF. But they don't, and lose two tours
ASY in good form, got more time to rest & recover, PV played two consecutive marathon matches, PV's shot quality improved today.
Wished the tournaments were moved from Bali to some Euro countries. Just look at the injuries and many retirements of players, making this whole tournament a joke. The heat, humidity and very slow shuttle speed in a hall, where players have been playing for the last 3 tournaments, resulting in players very tired and exhausted and not to mention injuries occurring.
They were super mediocre during their time in BAM, but after they left they slowly became one of the lowkey in-form pairs right now, while BAM could now focus on making Goh/Izzudin their No.2 choice. Safe to say the decision has been pretty good for both the players and BAM.
Gosh!! not the frozen hell. BWF's scheduling is the issue not the location. This is the lamest thing I've ever heard/read, even for the one flying out of world reformer tribe of beehive *. *= sarcasm.
