Chirag making silly errors could cost him dearly...he cleaely had this match but he made silly errors and thats why we are now into a decider third set !
As expected Chirag's Silly mistakes costed him this match he had his chances to wrap the match up in straight sets but his the unforced errors turned it into a 3 setter ( 21-18,20-22,12-21) I have to commend the Russian Sergey he played without any coach and gave his all so Kudos to him and heartiest comgratulation for Syed Modi 2022 QF and Best of all the luck to him for future !

What a match it was between SJV and Mithun I have to give it to both the players for putting a great match for ticket to QF. The comeback by the Malaysian was extraordinary thanks to Mithun's silly errors but eventually Mithun sailed through the second round due to the out of side line shot by the Malaysian. Well played SJV and Comgrats Mithun for the QF !
Day 3 at my home tournament is over and had a great time watching all the action LIVE at BWF youtube Channel...super excited to watch QF tomorrow. When i saw Lakshya Sen's Korean coach , i mistakenly identified him as Edwin Iriawan. From Distance , he looks exactly like him. What a double!. Only when i watched him during interval, difference is seen clearly.
I think he is Yoo Young Sung of Korea..I believe I read it somehwere that he is being hired by Prakash Padukone Academy..I could be wrong though

Great News for Badminton fans I was already super grateful to BWF for bringing in the much needed and demanded change which was the LIVE STREAMING of Pre TV Telecast rounds of all World Tour Events like S300 S500 from Day 1 and we got to see that from India Open and also now at Syed Modi International. Another surprise is this that unlike past years where S300 events were only TV Telecasted on Semi Finals and Finals now from this year onwards BWF has started to TV TELECAST super 300 events from QF onwards just like Super 500 events..which is super great and I LOVE IT !! According to its prospectus, S300 tour LIVE TV Coverage (with BWF commentator) will be available for semifinal & final only. Hopefully, there'll BWF Youtube LIVE Streaming in preliminary rounds (without geo-block) in next S300 tour, GER Open where's expected that more top players return to action in new season.
