PBSI already issued a statement saying it's becoz of the food the players got outside the hotel......problem is nobody is saying what food or where the resto they got it from

PBSI also said something along the lines of from now on the food in the hotel will be separated from the rest of the hotel's other guests which really is weird to my ears

saying they got poisoning from food outside hotel but now the hotel food for the players is being separated which is why i'm asking if any of you knows more info what's the food in question

otherwise PBSI is straight up dang liars

I don't understand why Nishimoto is allowed to play like that.

He lost in all: points, tactic and energy, gaging smashing in the first game, barely able to get points from Lu Guangzu.

That’s a very big problem indeed. Basically, you would need to have a restoran that not only Malaysians went to but also other countries players. If all the players that were affected came from one hotel, epidemiologically it points to a common source within the hotel.

You don’t need to be a doctor or nurse to realise that ☺️.

Unless, all the affected players at one hotel ate at the same outside restaurant and roughly the same time…….well it could happen but…..

no no, I mean I don't know why the coach allow Nishimoto playing like this. (that tactic)

He didn't have "big smash" like Lee Zii Jia to play that kind of tactic. Just cut the shuttle at the net and wait for opponent make a clear shot and smash with 100% of strength.

And repeat. The result was Nishimoto lost the first game and was out of 80% of gas

This game between the Grimley brothers and Choi/Kim is absolutely insane. The pace is on overdrive every rally.

Looking at the seeding for this tournament, I wonder when WS will get some new faces. Feels like it's been the same 8 names forever, with the sole exception of An-Se Young in over HBJ (though HBJ should be in over PVS based on form).

The investigation still continues but cockroaches issue (at Century Hotel) is real, questioning hotel hygiene.

What an emotional victory and steel determination by MAS independent XD pair, Goh SH was visibly struggling in final lap of deciding game, could barely standing on court in between points but they keep the spirit going on to complete the match. The off color World Champions Bass/Popor couldn't capitalise their opponent unwell condition and lost at the end, 20-22.

Carolina Marin passes opening round of her comeback tournament with modest form, her speed hasn't there yet, she might face challenging test to deal with in last sixteen, CHN third-ranked Wang ZY.

It's hotel breakfast… bwf and pbsi organizer clearly trying to play it down. The word they using is "we believe" "at this point" "the source is not tournament related area" its very ambiguous. Is century hotel a tournament related area??

the hotel in question is a 4-star hotel in central part of jakarta......never heard a 4 star hotel has poor hygiene especially cockroaches

if PBSI is lying then that's very unfortunate and really shameless seeing the guy who represented PBSI and issued the statement is a 2 star general in indonesian police force......ridiculous......and also blaming the foods given by the fans to the players too....really ridiculous
