Hi, I am currently playing with an arcsaber 7 pro which suits me very well but I feel it lacks some extra punch in single to clear the shuttle to the back court. I had the arcsaber 11 pro but it felt a bit too stiff. Does anyone know something in between? An arcsaber 7 pro with a tad more head weight or an arcsaber 11 pro flexier?
You could try an arcsaber 11 tour for more flex. Or you could put the bumper strip from an 11 pro onto a 7 pro to give it slightly more head weight. I love the 7 Pro. With its flex I find it very easy to clear from rear court to rear court, as long as I relax my grip before hitting.
Have you experienced with the arcsaber 11 Tour? How is it compare to the 7 pro? I also love the 7 pro but wish for a little help on clears and smashes.
I use 7 pro myself, but i almost never experienced lack of punch while doing clears, even my smash is better since i use 7pro, rather than my other racket. The only time my clear wont go far enough is when i am late on hitting the shuttle. May i ask, did you hit the shuttle a little late ? Cause sometimes it is the main problem
Yes mainly when I am late. There is only the 4U available for the 7 pro. I will try the 11 tour first and keep in mind the sticker solution
Then you don't have to worry about the racket. Its mostly the user fault here. Get a new racket will not help you much if you hit the shuttle late. I suggest you to train on your footwork, reaction and technique. It would help you much better than buying a new racket, and save you tons of money from buying expensive racket which you do not know would help you or not and suitable for you or not. Btw, it is from my own experience.
then you have to improve your technique or change into speedy racket so you're not late like victor 100x... Try Lower your tension by 1 point, change your string into strong repulsion like bg66 ultimax
Both version are good. The 3u is very fast for a 3u compare to other brand. Due to the weight it is easier to get good power and control.
