Synergy yes but not chemistry in terms of personalities, they often had lapses of no communication. You can tell LWK/WC enjoy playing with each other and they reported they are good friends off court too. He Jiting is probably the worst one in this aspect, dude always looks livid at his partner

I dont think LiangWK can improve much. Already with injured arms and plastered thigh. You get what i mean , its just the first of tournament and they barely played last week.

He is giving me the look like he will be Aaron Chia with the cooked arm. Playing at the back it will take a lot out of him and you see that with LJH who has a stronger smash. I think i barely see Gideon ever with arms ever being plastered like Aaron and Liang during their dominances even playing that many matches.

Passion and skill alone are still not enough to beat GOAT.
You need a really strong mentality.

IMHO, I feel Ahsan/Hendra are getting stronger after returning from the China tour, LOL.
    Congrats The Daddies...

    even Youths.

but its Final and they lost all 3 last year. Might be a step too far but it will be lovely to see them winning and write another chapter in history books.

Because he's not as good as his smashes make you think.

Shi Yu Qi, at his best, was capable of beating prime Momota. It was at the SS finals, where Shi Yu Qi beat Momota, back in 2019.

If Shi Yu Qi is back to his form from 2019, I think he will be hard to beat. I have Shi Yu Qi as the favorite to win the AE, provided he keeps his form from today.

LZJ had lots of skills and potential. But piss poor attitude and lazy.

SYQ worked harder on court and technically perfect. Well deserved the win.
