Gregoria has had really good skills for a while but she had issues with stamina and self-belief. She seems much better with her stamina now which I assume to be.. a result of her having put in the work and it finally showing results.

She had difficult periods with her self-belief last year and the year before, having been, at a young age, Indonesia's #1 WS with all the pressure that comes with it. She at one point posted doubt about her badminton career on Twitter. But Debby Susanto in a virtual talkshow on youtube (recently, covering her Spain Masters win) mentioned that that seemed like a good emotional release for her. After getting RU at Australian Open last year Gregoria said she's hungry to be on the podium again.. the hunger came back.

All due respect for Indra Wijaya but hadn't he barely even start coaching INA WS when Gregoria won Spain Masters?

Shuttle touched Japanese player's shirt before going out. It's clearly visible in the replay

Why is the JPN pair still playing together? There are no communication.

What was the controversy? I don't think even the commentator knew why the point was replyed.

The Japanese coach talked to the players during the point.
Coaches can only coach in between points, not during.

Fukushima looked very disinterested throughout the game. Not even moving back to share attack with Hirota.

Malaysians could barely stand from game 1. Fuku/hiro still lost to them.

Rexy wanted to smash the umpire because its 100+ rallies as if the point only tires MAS pair. Incidently , i think thats how the match turns.

Pearly look the most tired player on the court but she is determine while Hirota seems on 1 leg and i think somewhat shes not that commited. I like how this Malaysia WD play, they dont make WD look boring.

Rahayu smash is pathetic now. Laziness has crept into her.

the smash when she was with Greysia and early in her new partnership is gone.

i dare say Ramadhanti has stronger smash. But they dont playing exciting. Malaysia pair should handily beat them.
