HAHA! Yes by the time I get the book, either I will be too old to really use the knowledge, or the tactics will be out of date (well new scoring system is at least one thing this book won't cover or any change in the tactics) Seriously, maybe we need another chaper added to the end of the book about how strategies have changed with the new scoring system??
Sorry that I didn't check all the posts... My question is next: Do you sell also PDF version of your book? (Or some other electronic format?) I'd prefer that over printed paper book version for various reasons, of which two most important are: 1) I read books on my PocketPC, first because it's always with me with hundreds of various books, second, because it remembers last page being read, third, because it can be read in bed at nite without any light in the room, 2) I guss PDF version is also cheaper, no paper costs, nor printing costs, and neither shipping costs.... So, any chance to get a hold of electronic book - in English?
I'm in for the English translation too, Jonas. If u do this again I'd suggest English Grad students or technical writers w/ sports background as the translators. They'd have both the technical/language skills and understand the sports context. Shouldn't be too expensive either. If u want some editing of the final transcript I'd be happy to do it as a natural born english speaker and my Business grad studies gave me alot of practice in editing, writing articles and prepping training material. Or if u want a formal professional approach I have a friend w/ Technical writing background & MA in English. More important he was a BADMINTON player and would probably work for free or for a free copy of the final book. Good luck w/ xlation and eagerly awaiting the final version. Derek
Jonas, any news on English version of the book? Also, will you make an electronic version of the book too (Microsoft Word or something similar, or Adobe PDF format)? I think many would be willing to pay you few USD for electronic version.... and as said, you'll have no real costs for it (no printing/paper)...
everyone wants an english version but the threadstarter is not around anymore, dont know where he/she is.
