Hi ladies and gents just wondering what everyone thinks are the best feather shuttlecocks in terms of value for money (like it says in the title duh). these are probably the ones that you use unless you are extremely rich (not me!:crying Please take into account flight consistency, thickness of feathers, durability etc But yeah all comments are welcome... im not too sure about other places but in Malaysia it is possible to get RSL Offical for around US$10. or Protech Masterpiece for around that price too.
u can get protech masterpiece in malaysia for around USD10???????? afaik, the lowest price for that now is USD13+
i'll have to confirm first. plus i dont think anyone else an get at that price. coz my friend is like extremely good friends with the shop owner. they know each other really well. so that price might be irrelevant. plus its in sarawak, most people are from west malaysia.
the thing is that the margin on shuttles is so small... now u're saying that your friend can get a roll for more than RM10 difference (USD1 = RM3.44)... i'd like to believe such a thing exists! so if you'e saying that u need to confirm with your friend (because you aren't sure) and also stating that if this offer truly exists, it's only in sarawak and only available to your friend who is very good friends with the shop owner, i'm not sure how your original statement is truly relevant to the others who are not in sarawak and not good friends with that shop owner. especially so when you "so that price might be irrelevant" since the original poster asked a question on best value shuttles. price is indeed of great if not utmost relevance!
This website claim that their shuttlecock is as gd as AS 50 at a cheaper price. http://www.bizsingapore.com/sportslifestyle/shuttlecocks.htm Anybody wanna try?
he asked what everyone thinks is the Best Value for money shuttlecocks...... i think that protech masterpiece at US$10 is the best value shuttlecock. i dont see anything wrong with my statement. and i suppose if it mattered enough, they would try to contact me and ask if i could get the shuttles at that price for them. and i said that the price i quoted might be irrelevant to everyone else but that does not remove the fact that the protech masterpiece is still the best value shuttlecocks i know of.... i also did state that i could get such a price in malaysia and am not sure whether it is available elsewhere... so why do i sense this degree of hostility???
maybe i could have worded it better... so sorry if i offended u but as mentioned before, i think he's not the only one who wants to know how we can get protech masterpiece in malaysia at USD10. because when we asked, u said these 3 important points 1) "i dont think anyone else an get at that price" 2) "my friend is like extremely good friends with the shop owner" 3) "its in sarawak, most people are from west malaysia" doesnt it sound dismissive to the rest of us who asked as well? because you also said, "i think that protech masterpiece at US$10 is the best value shuttlecock. i dont see anything wrong with my statement." and then came up with the caveat that one must fulfill the 3 above criteria. so unless the original poster (or any of us for that matter) is any AND all of the 3 above criteria, the possibility of us getting those shuttlecocks at that price, wouldn't we be right to be disappointed? and you also ask, "i suppose if it mattered enough", i think we can safely say that it will definitely matter a lot if we could get such a deal here in KL.
Im from sarawak...goin back next month as a matter of fact after a brief holiday in china...will see how much it costs retail there...
