rite i have just bought a nanospeed 9000x and i dont think the racket suits my style of play. i would class myself as i quite a high standard player. first of all my smash has totally dissapered!lol. and i tend to hit the frame more than usally. i have just changed from the mp99 and i have loved that racket for years. my smash is one of my strong points with this racket. i was thinking about the 07 700.
i no that its not all about offensive its the style of play and that but how would u rate that to the mp 99?
The frame hits are probably due to poor timing due to the new balance. I'd say, play a few more games with it, try to adjust, then decide whether to get a new racquet or not.
IMO ns9kx is fantastic for laying down bombs if you can play with the racquet, it felt just right for me, when I had first tried it. I wouldn't say its for everyone. mp99 was extremely popular, because a lot of people were able to get comfortable with it... I don't know if switching to at700 will help much... perhaps look for something as suggested by the others, like the at900t which has similar balance to the mp99. Otherwise, I would just say give it some more time, to see if you can get used to the ns9kx.
cheers but i give it one more go 2nite and i just carnt get the hang of it the timing was better 2nite but the sweet spot feels so small to the mp99.
same problem as mine when try new ns9000x, but after playing consistantly for few month it's going better and better
My advice: use towel grip with NS9000 X. The shaft is just too stiff for me to handle properly with replacement/overgrip. With towel grip the touch/power/everything is just superb with this racket.
RESULT at last i finally had a super nite with my nano it just seem to click 2nite for me i just changed the grip to a slightly thinner one. power was awsome. now time to get three more but its going to be costly. gota sell me mp 99's first.
yeahh... that's right, i did the same thing too.. change overgrip to the thin one make the momentum and swing speed lower, so that will reduce the misshit on top frame
