Don't think so. Coach and charge will do postmortem.
In the NSS, the player who's very clear and prepared, with skills to match, will have the winning edge. Sony's very equipped and stunned and deactivated LCW before he even had the chance to put his weapons together. Maybe Sony's not that injured after all....This is an excellent wake up call for OG08. The mental awareness of what opponent's trying to do is crucial. The mental alertness to counter deactivation needs to be developed.Recognition of unusual opponent aggression needs to be shored up with a game plan to neutralise it.
It is important never to assume that opponent's going to play like his old style. What is more important is to play differently from most recent match with opponent. That way, if they've done thorough homework and based their game plan on it,jt will misfire. That's what happened to CJ. He said he did video homework on Susilo and game planned based on that. Unfortunately Susilo played differently from the video, so CJ got lost for ideas and there's no time to think.. while one is struggling.
Just learn from it and move forward.

Who is this head coach? If so, while fans may be stupid and stubborn to heap relentless pressure, but if a head coach does not realize that pressure is a difficult thing to dissect and that instead of motivating them could instead screw them up, then this people are more stupid and hopeless...what a golden opportunity slip away, hard to take...damn it!!!

This is a fatal blow to BAM. Normally it is an issue to put too many eggs in a basket but in this case, it is a bigger issue because there is only one egg in a basket. Furthermore, we don't even know if this egg will hatch.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 16 (Bernama) -- Malaysian first singles player Lee Chong Wei blamed head coach Yap Kim Hock for placing too much pressure leading to his loss to Indonesian Sony Dwi Kuncoro.

The world No. 3 and tournament second seed went down tamely 11-21, 9-21 in 36 minutes to Indonesia's second singles player, a three-time Asian champion.

Chong Wei said Kim Hock put too much emphasis on him winning to end a 30 year drought since 1977 particularly when it was being held at home.

"Kim Hock always stressed that I have to deliver in the singles. No other players name were mentioned. The intense pressure affected my focus during the game," he added.

He said this problem only came about when Wong Tat Meng became singles coach replacing Chinese Li Mou in Feb.

"I had been under Tat Meng for five months but my game did not improve until I asked to train under former national champion Misbun Sidek, Li Mou's predecessor.

"Kim Hock may not like it but under Misbun, I won the Indonesian Open in May," said an emotional Chong Wei.

He admitted that his relationship with Kim Hock was frosty since six months ago and that he had to expose this as he did not want his game to suffer at future tournaments.

LCW lost control of his emotion. This is going to be bad. Big blow to Mas team morale.
