    No Tournament software/Live scoring

    My question is:
Who is responsible for registering the tournament into the Tournament Software website. BWF or the tournament organizing badminton association? I would hazard a guess that it would be the latter as I have seen smaller tournaments appear on the Tournament Software website. Anyone know why this is not the case. It is after all a Gold level tournament. Unless the Taipei Open has its own website with score updates. I didn't see mention of it in any previous posts or threads. Any answers?:confused:

2 days ago..I called Chinese Taipeh badminton association and asked how come there was no LIVE score? He could not answer and even US$ 5000 tournament like in New Zealand has updated score and Taiwan is not 3rd world country....he asked me why I would like to know the result ( he thought I was a gambler or wager....:crying::crying::crying:)..I explained to him that normally all tournaments has LIVE SCORE....and I am badminton freaks....he should know that this is 21st century that everyone knows answer or something in a second, not 12 or 16 hrs later...it is amazing but I still could not get an answer but they sent me the result every night.....:(:(;)

I wonder if they have even heard of Tournament Software.com. Perhaps it wasn't in their budget. Oh well, I guess you and the other TPE BC members are our eyes and ears. Any "live" results would be most appreciated. Yeah, we're all badminton freaks! :D

I guess Badminton is not their prime sports in Taiwan as in BaseBall, Basketball etc... No offense here, but i feel so sad to a country which even won a title in World Juniors Badminton Championship (i fink its CSC) before..

You're correct. CSC beat Lu Lan to win the WS in the World Juniors in 2004 in Vancouver. We all had a great time there. ;)

To them, it's only an annual event. He underestimates the need for updated scores
