Only verbal fights not fist fights.
Furthermore even though we are far apart, there are 'referees' around to moderate the intensity before they deprecated into something untoward and unmanageable. :D

The axe will fall on someone who is out of line.

It looks likely it's going to be an all-INA Final in Men's Singles.
In the XD, I think Flandy/Vita will lose to Han/Lee.
In the WD, it's a tough battle between Vita/Butet vs Lee/Lee. I hope the INA pair wins.

it's good to see all these 3 ina players perform well, a bit headache to LYB as some more homeworks to be given to lindan for coming tourneys....a lot of uncertainty for olympics n tc in 2008....;)

Hopes one of INA XD lost in the SEmis & TH lost to LHI.. Else , there will be no fun to watch an ALL INA final in both department ;)

    Taufik's performance graph:
it has all been down this year :p
Until.....Japan Open (Final) and Chinese-Taipei Open (Semi-Final at least).

As for Simon, it's an uptrend for sure:
Round of 16 performance since his Runner-Up placing at the Swiss SS, and then 2 more Semi-Finals (at least) up to this week.

and i thought... we are having INA open instead of Chinese Tpe. Haha..

Well done boys. Expected LCW to lose...that's the state of our boys mentality, regardless badminton, football or whatever. (badminton esp..so dramatic this past few weeks). Sad but true.

    Thomas Cup simulation:

Taufik vs Lin Dan -- ok 55% 1 pt to China :p

Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun vs Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan -- 50-50, with the Chinese holding a slight edge. INA MUST WIN this one!

Sony vs Bao Chunlai -- tough to predict although Bao has a slight edge. 2-1 to China

Guo Zhendong/Xie Zhongbo vs Candra Wijaya/Alvent Yulianto -- I believe the coach will shuffle the formation, as INA die-die also must get this point! 2-2

Simon vs Chen Yu -- I think Simon can win (3-2 to INA)
Simon vs Chen Jin -- tough....Chen has the edge, but, he's on a downhill now  (3-2 to CHN)

    MEN'S SINGLES
Taufik Hidayat vs Lee Hyun Il -- Taufik is fired up...no doubt abt that. Chen Hong has become his casualty twice in a row. He should beat the Korean.

Sony Dwi Kuncoro vs Simon Santoso -- ditto too for Simon. I hope he can win to reach his second major Final this year. Let's make it an all-INA Final!!

    MEN'S DOUBLES
Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan vs Hendra A. Gunawan/Joko Riyadi -- yawn...another matchup between this 2 pairs...4th time this year already. Kido/Hendra to win!

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES
Vita Marissa/Lilyana Natsir vs Lee Kyung Won/Lee Hyo Jung -- I hope the INA pair can win...if they can match Gao/Huang, they should be able to handle Lee/Lee.

    MIXED DOUBLES
Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir vs Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl -- there's no stopping Nova/Butet to win their 3rd title this year.

Han Sang Hoon/Lee Hyo Jung vs Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa -- Flandy/Vita ALWAYS have a problem against KOR pair. They lost last week and I expect the same this week, although a win will be very much welcomed.

    Hi,

I think maybe LCW very tired after beat Taufik Hidayat. LCW need more energy and more stamina to beat Taufik Hidayat.

That's way his stamina drop and can't beat Simon.
