Yes, depending on the draw, ...they probably will compete with Rian-Yoke in getting semifinal slots... Kido-Hendra and Luluk-Alven should reach the semis and fill up 2 slots... I think these 5 pairs we just mentioned are the best 5 pairs INA have at this point of time... When Luluk-Alven retire, I predict Rian-Yoke shall become INA's #2 pair... they are argueably much more talented than Joko-Hendra and Bona-Ahsan... This is my opinion, of course... Any different predictions? yannie, badMania, taufik-ist, kimpe, jess, hau-ge? Yeah, why not... Solo seldom can see top world-class badminton... Lily-Nova, Taufik, Sony, Flandy-Vita, Greysia-Jo, Lily-Vita... everybody will be there... Fun fun! As for WS... I want to see Maria Kristin vs. Firda in the finals...

When you can, ...please tell Kido and Rian etc. that the INA public needs to see their faces and skills live... That way they can get 'familiarity' with the mass INA audience... With familiarity, comes advertisement of Powerade, Pocari Sweat, Jamu Sido Muncul etc.... that is good $$$ generation without much sweat or risk of injury... Take this opportunity! Go to Kejurnas, show your charming smiles, sign autographs, play well, entertain the fans, the more they love you the more advertisement opportunities you will get! I am serious.

Long term vs. short term benefits... Well, I guess Bu Yanti cannot see the bigger picture either... Badminton will not thrive for a long time in our country unless the little kids from all over INA are inspired by INA badminton heroes... With so little TV coverage nowadays [due to the commercial TV station's economics], badminton needs as much top level player 'showtime' as possible in front of the INA public... Long-term views and benefits should be taken into account too, not just short-term benefits [which surely goes in favor of not participating in the National Championship and in favor of preparing for HK Open, SEA Games, and the Super Series finals]... Furthermore, as I have explained before, everybody have to think about the overall commercial potential for themselves too... By the way, young good looking pairs like Rian-Yoke, Fran-Rendra etc. will be noticed more when they play against the world's top pairs like Kido-Hendra and Luluk-Alven...
Rian-Yoke will play against a qualifier in the first round of Denmark Open... However, if they get pass this test, they will have to face Luluk-Alvent in the Round of 16...
It will be MAJOR achievement if Rian/Yoke can beat Luluk/Alvent and possibly face the reigning World Champion Kido/Hendra in the QF.
Yup badMania... but hey, viva INA MD! Whoever deserves to go to the next round has to prove it on the Danish court... By the way, too bad we won't cross path in Indochina this weekend... You will be in Thailand, I will be in Cambodia etc.
