I think u will say different thing for KKK/TBH or Choong/Lee. This "Kachang puteh" Gold Series title is important to them right :)

To be honest, although I am happy that both the Malaysians pairs won but I rather see KKK/TBH vs CY/FHF or CTF/LWW vs MK/HS in the final. I never really enjoy watching compatriots playing against one another, may be the poison left by the Chinese still lingering in my blood stream. We will see tonight. My guess is one of the Malaysia pair may chose to "walk" :D
I really don't want Choon Hann to re-injure again as he may still be the "main force" to help Chong Wei when Olympic comes. Hafiz has proven he's not the right candidate.
    Taufik boleh AGAIN!

Yes, the Gold Series is important for MAS MD squad, because they haven't been performing well. The recent Chinese Taipei Open and this one is a journey of discovery, Besides, they need Rexy to smile and joke with them in training again. But then again, might as well not, these guys might play like clowns again. :p

This tournament is important for Taufik too, hope he is third time lucky and win it this time ...... in fact, I expect Taufik to win this comfortably. CJ doesn't have a complete MS game yet, notice how he cannot impose his game on an injured opponent after getting a W/O the previous round.

BTW, even the Super Series Grand Finals is "kacang puteh" compared to the Olympics, right? Only the World Championships, All-England and maybe Asian Games can be held in the same breath.

CJ? You mean like Peter Rasmussen against Sun Jun in 1997? Sun Jun down with cramp and he was still fighting for (and winning) points.

    Somebody mentioned this guy;)

Taipei Open is definitely a "KACANG PUTIH" Tournament without the likes of KKK/TBH ; FU/CHAI / JE/MLH & TONY/CW etc...

TH was not so friendly late in the 2nd set because PSH complained a 3rd time to the referee about a line call. he shouted at PSH saying ".................................oh my god" where ............... was something i couldn't quite catch.

BTW, Cheung, do you take your photos with the Fuji f31 ?

Sorry, the Fuji isn't quite up to this:D
As for the Taufik being a little annoyed, I see no problem in that. Maybe his karma was a bit ruffled that day.

thats what i thought. the Fuji f31 is just a normal digicam right?
only a SLR could produce such focused and fine images.

Nice pics there again Cheung. PARK Sung Hwan admires Taufik. He is a fan of TH. And he enjoyed playing against him.

    Thanks Ants

Found a nice one of CTF's expression.

One of my experiments with the 50/1.4. This lens doesn't seem to focus as fast compared to the 70-200/2.8. Perhaps the depth of focus has something to do with it?
