Well, well....these matches were the ones that I predicted wrongly yesterday. 2 were to INA's favor while 1 was to ENG's favor. Rani/Endang have really been disappointing in recent tourneys, losing in the first round in 2 consecutive SS events (Japan and now Denmark SS) Points deductions from their victory in the Dutch Open 2006 and QF placing in Denmark Open 2006 will see them plummet from their 11th position to possibly just enough to be in the top 20 On the other hand, perhaps Lita/Nitya could surprise us and win one more match in the Denmark Open? They will be playing Lim Pek Siah/Haw Chiou Hwee in the qualifier next week and hopefully they can qualify. The 5820 additional points should they qualify will see them rise to top 50, from the current 66 position
After Vita/Natsir's matches...Vita went to the bench and gave instruction..hehe..not Yanti...I said to her" wow..galakan elu"...because she felt Lita/Nitya's play was so annoying and she instructed them how to play in last few points when INA was leading 19-17...I guess we know who the boss is...
Who's the coaches this time round? Kak Yanti and Ko Aryono as usual? Nitya Krishinda used to partner Nadya Melati in the Juniors up to mid of this year and she only started to partner Lita Nurlita mid of this year (5 events so far). So, I am not surprised that their partnership still has yet to gel. A R16 showing in the SS event this year represents their best result. We'll see how they fare in today's match and the upcoming French Open. A couple of wins will do them good.
Kak Yanti and Bagus...never heard of him yet.....henry Imam, sigit pamungkas, hendrawan and Mulyo are there..Flandy brings his 3 kids and wife...mulyo also did bring his very cute son....I have a honour to chat with Morten about his view of badminton in europe as well as badminton itself...he is very humbla nd simple guy...you can see from his using of "OLD" nokia....simple one..
Ic...sigh....why Richard Mainaky never joins the team, except for important events like the World Championships He doesn't seem to travel much
Off topic-So.. ..any plan(s) of a simple get-together w/ all the INA players in the near future, Hau-ge???..
