I will be flying off to Changsha, so, unlikely to follow the live-scores

    MEN'S SINGLES QF
Lin Dan vs Simon Santoso -- Simon has shown some improvements, beating Lee Chong Wei and Peter Gade in recent matches. Can he go on and beat Lin Dan?

Sony Dwi Kuncoro vs Lee Chong Wei -- another great match and Lee must be primed to take his revenge for his loss in the World Championships. Sony looks shaky against Taufiq Akbar Hidayat today and I think the Malaysian still has the edge over him.

    MEN'S DOUBLES QF
Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan vs Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki -- the Djarum pair has impressed me even more by now. So, it will be a match between my favorite MD pair and my second favorite MD pair. The WC should take the match...possibly in 3 sets?

    MIXED DOUBLES QF
He Hanbin/Yu Yang vs Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa -- the Chinese pair nearly lost today while Flandy/Vita had an easy match today. It will be tricky facing the younger Chinese pair, but, Flandy/Vita hold an edge.

vs He Hanbin/Yu Yang..Flavi shall prevail as they have passed the most dangerous momment at 1st round..frankly speaking, I would say this pair is the only INA hope as biggets possibility contender for the DEN tourney champ

    MS:

-SS vs LD..wow..:eek:..I would be dancing all the nite..if simon upset Lin Dan..as I said, would be the biggest upset of the year :cool:

    -
SDK vs LCW..i hope for Sony, but seems LCW is on his form..40:60 for Sony..as LCW will phase to the next round..
well, not yet happen that INA lost MS players at semis, but realistically, that's the map after Mr.President (TH) lost to BCL :crying:..

    MD:

-Markis/Hendra vs Rian/Yoke.. a tough test for Markis/Hendra  as they will face reigning Dutch open champ from Djarum..it will be test as well whether players within pelatnas are better than clubs, but based on their consistency, eventhough this is 50:50 game, i would put my hope on Markis/Hendra :):p

    MAS in action

    MEN'S SINGLES QF
Lee Chong Wei vs Sony Dwi Kuncoro - Lee is much motivated to avenge his loss in the World Championships. It could be a close match but Lee has the slight edge.

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES QF
Wong Pei Tty/Chin Eei Hui vs Zhao Tingting/Yu Yang (F) - A 50:50 game but the MAS pair is all fired up after knocking down the top seeds in the 1st round.

    MEN'S DOUBLES QF
Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong vs Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen - the world number one should be able to pull it off.

    1st DAY - 10 upsets
    2nd DAY - 2 upsets
    3rd DAY - :confused::confused:

The Top Seeds Player left now are all in danger zone

    MD
    1. Markis/Kido vs Rian/Yoke - The seniors will be having a hard times against the impressive Rian/Yoke . Many supporters here for the juniors pair :p

    2. Zhang Ning vs Zhou Mi - The big sister sweating heavily in two previus rounds.. Plus her injury,Won't be surprised if ZM can create a upset as she is hot in R16 by easily destroyed JJY.

    3. Lin Dan vs Simon - The World No. 1 hardly went through any stiffed test yet. SS is still a class below LD, a miracle here is very unlikely to be happened...

PG would have been a sure win for LD. Simon is dangerous to top non-INA players. Simon can win if Rudy and Fastdrop show support. LD gets bothered when some of the crowd gets behind his opponent.

:D:D...LD is nice person..he will sign authograph..mostly from kids...
Hm..side story here..may kids here asking Players' shirt especially when they have lost....for their reason...you lose..you do not the shirt anymore....:D how cruel!!...you can see many kids chasing the losing players, not because they want their authographes.....they want their shirt!!!:cool::cool:

Simon shows his maturity and I hope Simon has a good fight with LD...I think LD has the edge despite Andrew Smith got first close set ....
