What Damouse meant was, KKK hug his ex-partner CCM when they won. KKK and TBH didnt hug when they won Denmark Open and AE. So, it's not a matter of culture, it's about their closeness to one another. The recent hype about their strained relationships didnt help either.
They did hug each other after winning Macau Open, I suppose that was a breakthrough tournament for them.

My take is TBH is not the touchy huggy type-maybe shy. He quickly pulled away when Rexy hugged him after they won AE.

Most important their rapport have improved. Rexy said to the media that he's very happy they are encouraging one another. That made him happier than the fact they won the title. He's also happy TBH was able to rise up to the occasion when KKK was making errors, both showed more maturity.

MR VChing i think you are stepping on my nerves when saying that KOO is a womaniser. Please refrain from these comments next time.
No doubt he is popular among gals.. but that does not mean that he is a womaniser.

Mr ants, I am sorry if I have offended you. It was a pun (a terrible one) on my part and I apologise for it. When I said womanizer, I meant Koo was popular with women, and not entirely that he has lots of women.

But you cannot deny that Koo has the 'bad boy' image that does naturally lead to his being perceived as a womaniser.

I am a great fan of Koo and I am not trying to defame him in any way.

Womaniser is a term to describe a person who 'pursues casual sexual relationship with multiple women' (Merriam Webster)

That's quite different from being 'popular with girls'.

Vching, aren't you tired of tasting your own foot?

    1. what does tasting your own foot mean?
    2. my usage of womanizer was entirely uncalled for. I deeply and fully apologise and I will never call Koo and womanizer again. I was not aware that the definition of a womanizer was so severe.

Put one's foot in one's mouth

    Meaning:
This idiom is used to describe when a person says the wrong thing at the wrong time. We often use this idiom if we say something stupid in front of other people, especially if it is something embarrassing and inappropriate. We can also use it to describe when someone else makes this kind of mistake.

I don't think hug or high five is an indication of their relationship. It expresses how they feel about their win.Although MCO is not a SS, they hug with overjoy because it's their first win over ctf/lww, a breakthrough victory.Same feeling when ccm/kkk beat the Danes in TC06;the score ended at 30-29.Also the MCO win ended their dry spell.Whereas defeating the Danes in SS is 'normal'.

It is very weird, my previous post on ".... A high-five is good, a hug is better, a kiss will be the best (just kidding :D:D)." went missing. Is it that offending that it has to be deleted?:confused:

Both KKK and TBH never have any problems off court. At the same time both of them are aware that they have to learn to understand each other better on court. And they are improving. The only real test is when you are losing not winning.

With a partnership, complimenting each other is easy but complementing each other is a tat more difficult.

So whilst the high fives and the hugs are there to show, I would like to see a longer term understanding between the two -- and the first thing to show that is that they continue to play well together without going back to the ill-feelings that hampered them from winning.
