If it's true, that's a great opportunity for Thai to wash the world class players.

That's only for the men's team. The men senior squad are to concentrate on SS and qualifying for Olympics next year.
The women, NSC wanted Wong Mei Choo for WS and WongPT/ChinEH for WD to fight for gold at SEA Games. So, BAM should be sending the women seniors for both Hong Kong and SEA Games. The final list isnt out yet so maybe they are going for both, maybe not.

But I suppose for INDON, both the men and women are contenders for medals in Olympics.

Eaglehelang... stop calling us Indons... we are INA... Indon does not sound good. It also sounds funny if we abbreviate Malaysians as Mala-s.... :p

ok, sorry, no offence meant in any manner. I use that short form for the country Indonesia, not the people of Indonesia, that's why no 's' behind the n . Wasnt meant to be the offensive word that has been used to refer to foreign workers from that nationality.
From now on, it will be INDONESIA in full cos I'll forget the short form.

Funny though, we use it at work in informal emails, none of the Indonesians got offended with us. And vice versa I don't get offended (within reason) with what they refer to me/Malaysians .

Oh no, we are not offended. Just feel funny being called Indon... Wiiieerrrdd...

Do these sound funny to you? Mala... Singap... Thail... Vietna... Burm... Cambo... They sound funny to me... Just like Indon...

I think these are just funny [and a bit inconsiderate] ways of abbreviating a country's name... [Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Burma, Cambodia] should be safer to say... :D

True. MAS has to win all the singles to beat INA. But I believe Maria Kristin, Firda, and Pia can beat a MAS team that does not include WMC and Wong-Chin... ;) INA has to be the favorites to win the women's team gold [if they have it]....
