vching, there are few issues here, hope u can understand after this............ 1) Is LCW really injured?? Basically i think we all believe that he's really injured, since ants said that too, i have respect for his credibility. 2) LCW cared too much of what the public is thinking of him what's the main purpose of telling everyone that he's injured after the match? does it help him in the next tourney by telling it? NO.......it will only attract the opponents to further deteriorate his injury by playing a rally game with him. The fact is that LCW cared too much of what MAS supporters will think of him after he lost. He has to change his mentality of bothering too much of what others are thinking of him. That's why he was always having problem with pressure issues.........ants did tell us that he was avoiding calls from the media and even didnt want/dare to read local newspaper during DO........running away from the pressure is not helping him in the long run. 3) Why play if he is really injured? if he is really injured and the injury was that bad until it affected his match against BCL which caused him to lose, why is he risking to further deteriorate that injury? pls remember, 1), 2) and 3) are totally three different things........... My argument is issue no.2 while i believe extremepower's argument is on no.3............what's yours vching?
since the match haven't really started yet, i think we still can dwell on this matter for another........say 2 hrs??
hehehe........i dont know that satay can promote positivism, until now..........i'll start eating 20 satays a day from now on.......
on LCW's knee injury I have seen the match between LCW and Kenneth J. yesterday and I believe LCW is nursing a knee injury. His game was totally different. Few jump smashes, very calculated drop shots retrieval. His approach was entirely different yesterday. More on pending and suspended shots confusing his opponent. He won the game maybe by not playing his usual game. The style was truly deceptive. The French crowd was so amazed.
It's anybody's game. Under the new scoring system an error translates into 2 points. In a tight match it's a matter of who gets to 21 first. Wang Chen is sick. Not even tried to resist the attacks of Wong. The Malaysian girl played very well yesterday. Very accurate line shots.
It was not an easy win for Simon yesterday. Strong resistance forced a 3rd set. The match was quite tight.
He is in stadium....we were in denmark open together....you should know that Fastdrop is in a mission of completing 12 SS
i kinda have a feeling that KKK/TBH and LCw will lose today..haha..and this is not reverse psychology..i just have this weird feeling..hmm..
It was a long day yesterday. The last match ended past midnight and only a few of us "badminton addicts" were left to watch. Too bad my celphone battery was dead so I wasn't able to reply to Yannie's messages. Ming Paris, a BC member gave up before midnight.
Let's just hope for a good match. All of them are good players. I notice the difference on how the European takes a match, they cheer and applaud for good shots. It does not matter who did it. Of course they rally behind their local players but do acknowledge a perfect and extraordinary shot. The crowd loves Taufik and LCW.
Oh? And not Lin Dan or European players like Peter Gade? This may sound stupid but why do they like Taufik and LCW? Style of play?
