Now I remember. Penang satay comes without the accompanying peanut satay gravy. The gravy is already marinated onto the meat before it is BBQ, rite? Hmm, tasted these many moons ago at the famous seaside seafood restaurant near Balik Pulau , just cant remember the name rite now. Wonder if the place still operating? Yes, the place where u need to book 1 day in advance.
THe best satay I have tasted as a young boy was at the PADANG, where satays were quite a few. They have wonderful creamy peanut sauce.
