I thought they will win too....but...this is a GP Gold event...so...the learning curve is pretty steep for the young Pelatnas pair.

Ingo Kindervater/Katrin Piotrowski are also forced to a rubber...29-30 in the second set...interesting  Well, I hope Anggun/Lia can qualify for the QF...the furthest they can possibly go now.

Both Maria Elfira Christina and Fransisca Ratnasari have progressed to R16.

Fira has a good chance to reach QTR...I hope Nana can defeat Cheng to reach QTR...who would have thought that Nana has improved since her slump last year and this year...

Look's like this thread is going to be populated by only INA fans.....with no MAS participation :D

Yup, Maria Elfira Christina faces Katie Tolmoff tomorrow in a winnable tie.
It will be tough for Fransisca Ratnasari against Cheng Shao-Chieh, but, for her to win 1 match in the main draw is already a good enough result

It's really good that Russian Open decides to adopt tournamentsoftware at the last minute...now we can have the luxury of live-scores :D

Rian/Yoke lost the second set 19-21, despite leading 14-10  They took the first set easily 21-10.

Meanwhile, Anggun Nugroho/Tantowi Akhmad have beaten their opponent in rubber-sets 21-9, 17-21, 21-14. They will entertain the 4th seed Mike Beres/William Milroy tomorrow.

It was an unconvincing start for Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki as they beat Evgenij Dremin/Alexej Vasiljev 21-10, 19-21, 23-21. The Russian pair actually had a match point at 21-20 before Rian/Yoke finished them off with the final 3 points of the match. What a close shave......

They better play better if they are to stand a chance against the vastly improving Tsai Chia-Hsin/Hu Chung-Hsien tomorrow

As expected, Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan are still inexperienced as they lost 17-21, 16-21 to the 5th-seed Kristof Hopp/ Ingo Kindervater.

Rendra Wijaya/Fran Kurniawan also progress to R16 after a straight-set victory over Chris Langridge/Richard Eidestedt 21-18, 21-14. They will face the second-seed Michal Logosz/Robert Mateusiak tomorrow. A tough match is in store

In the WD, Yulianti/Nathalia Christine Poluakan are forced into rubber-set
