maybe malaysia will give rexy more leave or breaks and raise his salary that Rexy can't offer. Not sure if this carrot will help. 1 Million rm for the coach if win OG. Boleh?

Well, its our fault for losing Rexy actually. Until BAM get its act right, we are going to keep on losing good coaches.

No, I didn't miss that point. Rexy just said it out of emotions. What is he going to do if not coach badminton?!? He can become a preacher... but he will soon find out that being one cannot fund his kids to good colleges. He shall return to coach badminton, Samuel... ;) Just not as Malaysia's MD coach. The environment there somehow is not condusive...

I don't know the details on why it is so, but somehow the best foreign coaches cannot stand the 'politics' or 'pressure' there... More than one foreign coaches complain privately to me about it...

Aaah, good point, Chris. With Rexy there, maybe USA has a better shot at becoming a badminton powerhouse, thus bringing more attention, sponsorships, business, thus $$$ for badminton as a whole! :D And the US is one of the countries that can pay enough $$$ for a coach of Rexy's calibre... [PBSI can only pay around $2000 per month or something]...

Just to be safe for the USA, you better start calling Rexy quickly! Otherwise, India or Russia might call him first...

That thought came to my mind too... but then, I remember that many of our WD talents are not even taller than the badminton net. So, I stopped dreaming about our WD...

Haha...I think Ko Aryono and Kak Yanti have done a reasonable job so far with the WD, since its not our priority anyway.

Bu Yanti [Kusmiati] is waaay shorter than the net. She can give insights on how to play well despite physically being very short... ;) Yup, INA cannot prioritize WD at this time... the gap between us and the rest of the world is too far...

My, my, the last few pages been filled with Indonesians so excited (+plus 1 USA) that you all are suggesting all the departments Rexy can coach.
One country's lost is another country's gain, we shall see.

I smile when the MAS fans start writing MAS boleh or LCW boleh! They're saying MAS is so-so and LCW is so-so... :p

Anyway, Rexy is hebat, not boleh... ;) :D

We did nothing to drive Rexy out of Malaysia... :p Sounds like some people in MAS did it. Apparently for those Malaysians, Rexy is more valuable outside MAS than within MAS.

By the reaction of the INA fans... we are just very happy that those conceited Malaysians think so! ;) By the way, in general, the MAS fans in BC are not the conceited types. :)
