Or could they be worried about me representing Canada and kick their rear-end in the future? Not likely, consider that I am 30 years old now. Seriously, the Korean WD(Lee/Lee) has improved so much, that just in HK open 2005, they were owned by YW/ZJW, and now they are fighting head to head. Lee Yong Dae in both MD and XD are amazing! Too bad, he ain't good enough to beat Hafiz in MS.:crying:
poor Japanese pairs , always managed to create upset here and there but never able to win any tournament so far
The Olympic and World Champions Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen were beaten by Lee Kyung Won/Lee Hyo Jung in 13-21 21-13 21-19. Third upset of the day.
There is nothing much tactical games in the korean doubles.. Smashes over smashes from begining right to the end of rallies.
In order to smash, one must force a lift... how you force the lift is considered tactical. Plus where you smash or to whom you smash to, is a tactic as well. Otherwise, the whole game of tennis isn't much tactics either, it is always a lot of forehand, or backhand stroke to the far end of the other side.
ya loh, but they have been to reach this far, hmmmm, the other pairs should know their game by now - did they change their style much lately?
