wow, singhzico, 6 posts in a row...

Lu Yi is a strong chalenger, but I think WCH can seal a victory

Wei Feng another Chong Wei? I remember Chong Wei amazed us years ago with an upset against Chen Hong, and has amazed us ever since. Lets hope its not a flash in the pan.

Why is CJ blowing 'hot and cold' ? CWF must have 'caught a wind in his sails'.

    Another overconfident incidence perhaps?

Unlikely injury. With their TCM expertise, CHN players injury usually last 1 or 2 days.(eg LD from AE to SWO)
There are 2 possible reasons CJ can lose.
1.Not enough sleep.(That's what he claimed when he lost to Susilo in MO07)
2.No video homework done on his opponent (because there's none available on rookies or Spore's Kendrick L and Susilo)
Anyway CJ's the most important MS to watch now. The battle will move on to ABC where CHN MS job is to help pave the way for CJ and non-CHN MS job is to stop CJ.

However, it is unlikely that Chen Jin will not get to participate in the Olympics. Kenneth and Taufik, his 2 closest competitors, have little oppotunity.

    Wow for Chong Wei Feng.
Xball, remember Chen Jin had to withdraw from Swiss Open due to injury, maybe not fully recover yet. But big blow for CJ in OG qualifications.

Good for CCE/CCM, hope this senior pairing can go far here. Good for the back-up MD, Chan Peng soon/Chang HP too, hope they can reach QF.

Lets say...if KJ wins European Championship.....and CJ didnt perform in ABC....i think CJ will out of No. 4 in WR......and he will not be the 3rd. Chn player to participate in Olympic 08......Thus, if KJ gets No. 4 in WR.....then CJ is gone......;)

    you are right
if kenneth wins the european championships (I assume its a GP Gold event), then he will have 58502+1960 = 60462

Chen Jin has to win the ABC to match that.
However, if Kenneth does not win, even if he gets to the semifinals, Chen Jin goes to Beijing.

What they meant under Rashid Sidek means back-up squad. Not as 'popular' as TCS of course. Currently no 88. Cant imagine if Msia player lost to a player 84 rungs below them. BWF Info :
