    From Dan's blog:

    hmmm..

Knowing a tiny bit of US culture and Chineese, I would think you should look at some US Hollywood action movies, and read some newpaper about what's happening in the "hood" before farting out comments like "In America, the "punch" will come later" :) .. yeeah right :)

It kind of bad to generalize and be too prejudgemental... isn't it?

i alway came to know that martial arts first teaching is respect and restraint. A true martial artist has a stronger head than his/her hands or feet.

Badminton's bad boy Lin Dan in trouble again

China's world number one badminton star Lin Dan is embroiled in yet another controversy ahead of the Beijing Olympics, with state press reporting Friday he hit his coach.

According to numerous reports, Lin struck his coach, Ji Xinpeng, after losing his cool during a training match on Tuesday, prompting a chorus of calls to punish the temperamental star.
But top sports officials said Lin, 24, the nation's top hope for men's badminton gold at the Beijing Games, was only involved in a verbal spat with his coach and no blows were struck.
Following the spat, Lin "was criticised for arguing with his coaches" and he also admitted acting inappropriately, the official China Sports Daily on Friday cited Li Weiguo, head of China's national badminton team, as saying.
Other reports, including the China Daily, said that numerous journalists saw Lin strike Ji, but players and coaches quickly intervened and prevented the 2007 world champion from landing a second blow.
The incident has caused an uproar on the Internet, with sports fans calling Lin's behaviour "intolerable," the report said.
"The coaching team and chief officials have spoiled Lin. He should have been kicked out of the team earlier," the China Daily quoted one as saying.
"What they care about is whether Lin will win gold ... if we send this kind of person to compete on the international stage, it's a shame for China's badminton."
Lin, famous for his public spats with the reigning Olympic champion Taufik Hidayat of Indonesia, was also involved in an altercation with South Korea's Chinese head coach Li Mao in the Korean Open early this year, the report said.
In that incident, Lin rushed Li after a questionable line call and appeared poised to strike the former Chinese coach with his racket before trainers and teammates again intervened, it said.
Lin was not punished for that incident, the China Daily said.

    Translated using google:

Today, I found that I had some of the media published the news with Ji Xinpeng guidance, we said the conflict occurred, it is fundamentally not matter. I really am baffled. Do not know what these channels from the media is that these fabricated false news, and I am very puzzled and angry. I will retain the right to use these media to further the rights of legal means.

Recently, we are stepping up training for the Olympics, a number of teams for competition, in preparation for the Olympic Games. I do not want at this critical time for the media to this affect my mood and my training and the relationship between the coaches. Please also do not believe that the broad masses of fans friend these reports.

In addition, I now prepare for war in the whole process, the mentality and thinking are very positive, and I hope the Chinese team members to get more Olympic tickets, I hope I can play a high level.

Some reports say that I am pessimistic, bad psychological state of the reports are untrue, I am my own best understanding, I now Jizhanshushuibeng psychological state, as well as the stability and are gradually rising. In the course of day-to-day training and support teams are also stable and normal, I hope you will not again and I Badminton chaos and suspicion, prepare for war affected our situation.

    Not really

    For instance, look at this:
"...some of the media published the news with Ji Xinpeng guidance..."
Doesn't this mean that Ji Xinpeng tried to damage Lin Dan?
    Whoa, google!

As it says in the translation: 'I really am baffled' :(
