during the training session, not during the match.
if LD fight with someone during the match, and the umpire will sent him out!

Well, when I read the report from China media...LD himself said his relationship with Ji is ok, after the incident, since it was only misunderstanding as he was too stressful during the simulation match...If, if your statement is correct and from a trustworthy source, then, David Liu's statement that LD never lie to us, can't stand as LD said his relationship with Ji is ok (after the incident), but Winton, you claimed that their relationship no longer Good...

And, you are hinting us that....Ji keep quiet just to destroy LD, his new enemy? But I thought LYB said the incident don't even affect the team as a whole....

Winston, I m not here to question or to judge if LD punched Ji or not...my question is that, if it is as simple as 'no punch' or merely misunderstanding, what Ji has to do is clarify loudly "林丹没有老拳相向,只是纯粹言语上的冲突” (LD didn't punch me, we just got arguement)...

Don't always see us as Anti China, we are not from Tixxt, we are not from Txiwxn....we, Chinese abroad (Singapore, Malaysia, INA, Thai, Vietnam), most of our ancestor originated from mainland China...most of our chinese society here, still practise the culture n teaching that our ancestor brought. Respecting elders, respecting your teacher, is essential in our daily life...That is why, I think LD was wrong in disrespectful to Ji, but whether he punched, I can't judge until we have the clear picture...just my thought

Yes Winston, you are right by saying that LD is better than the above listed athletes, that's ok...
HOWEVER, why we compare ourselves with 'lousy' ones instead of good ones? Don't you think that it will become worst? 为何我们是跟坏例子比较,而不是和好的例子相较?如果是这样,情况不是每况愈下吗? That is what I can't understand. Imagine this, when I pass my Chinese subject with a fail, say 15 marks, and my parents said, nevermind, next door Ah Niu scores 10 marks...am I going to improve? I don't think so. In normal circumstances, parents would say, it is alrite to have only 15 marks, but, can you study hard next time, and score higher mark, let say a pass?

Let me emphasize again, LD is not a Saint, hopefully he can learn from mistake.

I don't understand why LD took the simulation so seriously....everybody in the whole world knows that he is No. 1....

I guess it's a personal thing between LD and the coach

    Well...from this incident..

..one thing is certain : Ji XinPeng definitely has received much more attention (probably unexpected & unintended attention) than he ever would've imagined.:p

Remember, LD wants to be the badminton ambassador. I believe, he wants to lead with good example, not bad example. By comparing LD to those doping athletes and Mike Tyson, don't you think this is an insult (侮辱) to him?

Another thing is certain : Ji XinPeng had won an Olympic MS Gold, LD haven't done so yet .....:p:D

But what Louisa mentioned were good points, why no comments for Ji XinPeng himself? And that everyone should measure themselves against people with better standards, instead of against those with worse ones. LD included.

LD will go all out to get the Olympic gold this August, you can be sure.
But...hopefully... unlike 4 years ago when he was unlucky enough to meet one Indonesian born Singaporean, RS... his luck will be better and not be knocked out in the first round!

Then Ji Xinpeng will have the last laugh! ;)

Hahaha......I just don't understand why Winston_T so emotional......come on, we just voice out our own opinion, and what I wanna say had already well said by Louisa! Thks Louisa!

Pls all BCers, we r not anti-LD, and not anti-china! We r chinese, and we learn mandarin and chinese culture since we r kids! And I can say, most of the chinese in other countries support chn players even more than some mainland chinese. Just go sina or sohu, read all those comments about LD, or XXF when they lost...... We never critic any player as such...... so, pls dun anti-M'sian supporters as well......PEACE!!!!!!
