90% of our youngsters didnt perform well in this ABC except TCS (he beat Kendrick Lee) and Arif. Last nite, TCS was outclassed by Korean MS (11-21, 11-21) and Arif lost tamely to Hafiz.

Any hopes in our juniors? Who will be the next LCW? Has Rashid done a good job with the juniors? ;)

There are still alot to be done for the Juniors. Actually there are only flashes in the pan for the Juniors. Sometime they can beat the seeded players but lost out to the unseeded.

Intense studies on the needs of the junior training programme is require. For example u cant have the same training programme for Arif and TCS. They have different weakness and physique.

More intense training to build endurance and stamina to push them to next level. For what i understand the backup have more off day than the BJSS.

There should be more qualified coaches for these future players. Maybe if Li Mao have been appointed to take charge of the back up- it would be a different stories today. Rashid should have been promoted to National instead

Maybe BAM should seriously look into these group as they are our next in line.

i actually have high hopes for Tan Chun Seang, hopefully he can be the top MAS MS player soon.. he's 21 already is it??

TCS is kinda unique, left handed, and his style of play is good... BTW noticed that many MAS juniors that are featured are left-handed... this could be an advantage...

TCS will move up to senior squad after OG. Not all are in Rashid's squad.
Arif just got promoted to back-up Jan 2008, so, too early to tell, but very promising, more so than those who have been in back-up squad 2 -3 years.

XD : Wee Kiong, Woon, Lim Khim Wah, Hui Lin were promoted straight to senior squad Jan 2008. They are only 19, just started in senior squad, plus apparently the strong female player Hui Lin is quitting the sport to concentrate on studies.

Razif/Chong did well to beat the Koreans, they should be next to move up senior squad in XD.
Lydia made a breakthru by beating Koari Mori, good run-up to Uber Cup.
