Malaysia face the Japanese in the next round. That is the price of losing to Denmark. I consider it an upset. In my mind, except for WS1 and WS3, we are considerably stronger than Denmark. I don't think we will beat Japan.

That Hui Lin is too fat for a young girl. You can literally see her fats swinging around her at the tummy (i won't call waist as she doesn't seem to have one) and her thigh when she hit the shuttle !

If she wants to change her mind and continue playing, she should go on a weight loss programme. Else better she quit and concentrate on studying. So fickle minded. Sometime quit and then quickly take back words and come back.

    Like Rexy hor !

Nay, I am not disappointed, I am disgusted. Goes against the spirit of the game.

But if Korea don't want to win, so be it.

 Denmark UC is already 3-1 up so they are the winner. I thought the Malaysia WD's were supposed to be good  And Super Nanna is still super :p

WS3 ? Lydia is supposed to be stronger than that Camilla Sorensen. It's Camilla Sorensen and not Camilla Martin, yah ?

Ah Kelantan is famous for wayang kulit, right?
They should be consulted as advisors.

Maybe the Koreans are playing the right tactics to get to their objective. And if they do, then they deserve to win in the end. Yes minds game as well, not all brute and brawn!

Not a good excuse as the some of the Danes are rookies, too.

Yup, both MAS and JPN are seeded way too high for this Uber Cup. The Danes are European Champs, even Holland was a Uber Cup semifinalist last time around.

As I mentioned earlier, it's disappointed that Julia lost narrowly and she should have finish off the match in straight sets while leading 18-15 in the 2nd game. I remember Koo Kien Keat was playing very well in his debut 4 years ago. It still has a long way to go for MAS UC squad. Sigh...

Errrr, in case you havent noticed, Hui Lin is the best WD among the youngsters - Goh LY, Woon Khe Wei, even KLRC's Haw. Not sure if she's better than Chong SC but her combo with Lim PS worked well during TC qualifiers. I think that was why she was chosen to partner Pek Siah in tie against Spore instead of Haw.
    She's aggressive, good at attacking.

Ppl have also nicknamed CEH as "fatty bum bum" but she & WPT still our top WD for a number of years.

I read in earlier pages that glass fell on the court during Julia's match. Maybe that effected her concentration. Anyway, KKK played well but they lost in 2004 in that match that KKK replaced CCM.

Gitee has a point. Hui Lin stopped playing briefly when she wanted to go to university. Her fitness level could be suspect.

Anyway, let's hope they can turn the tables on the cute Japs tomorrow. A bit more difficult now that Yu Hirayama is elevated to 2nd singles and Mori is 3rd.
