Yeah well... generally I think Malaysian players haven't been very successful in handling immense public pressure at all.

They are doing better this year.A lot better.Seriously.
To handle public pressure,i think the solution is to have good 'support system' by ur teammates
And after Pd's 'Kem Bina Semangat' -they've done it very well.

He he, no wonder LYB had some nice things to say abt Msia in the media. Or maybe that was due to China Uber team almost lost to Netherlands yesterday.;)

The pressure's on China, the defending champions. Msia's official target is Semi Finals. Msia players in current form are not expected to win against China, and are the underdogs.

To be fair, both Malaysia and China bear the same pressure. The past result doesn't mean anything if Malaysia lose it this time. Indonesia lost to China on the past few meetings in TC too, so should they be scared too? LCW need to win the first match against LD and Malaysia will see the chance of upset.

Gillian Clark disagreed with her partner that CHN is the clear favorite for the coming match between CHN & MAS.

MAS is the underdog and let's see.....

i said that before it all depends on if LCW can deliver the first point, if he can then we can all expect a very very good match. if not, i'm afraid that it'll be game over.

If our players can play with their hearts out, we can expect a evenly match performance. Win or lose, hopefully good fighting spirit will be shown :)

    Why Malaysian players always under-perform...

So many fans try to put pressure onto LCW... If LCW reads all such posts in this forum, I bet he will be nervous enough to lose something like 10:21, 10:21 tomorrow.

Is it really "game over" if LCW lost? CY/FHF is not in good form. According to many people who watched the TC simulation match, FHF's ability of delivering heavy smashes is weaker than before. MAS has advantage in the 2 MDs. It's far from impossible that either WCH or HH or Arif will deliver one point -- the last time WCH met BCL, WCH won; If HH can beat BCL in 3 games, why can't he dominate CJ?

From what I observe, MAS fans will worry even if they have Team China. Think this way: MAS has advantage in the 2 MDs, so it all depends on LD. If LD loses, game over! :D
