Be fair to LD man. He is already almost a legend. If he takes this OG, he will definitely be a legend.

What do you think of the chances of Malaysia stealing 3 games from the next 4 if LCW lost?!?!

33%....... I don't see Uncle Wong stealing a point against Bao Bao, but if Yo-yo king can go all out like he did with Bao in 2008 ABC, he'll stand a chance against CJ.

As I said, MAS holds upper hand in both MDs, CHN holds upper hand in both MSs. Of course MAS's chance of winning 3 of them is less than 50%, but it's definitely not as small as 1%.

Before CHN - Holland match, what do you think is the chance of Holland taking even one point?

Think about it. Doesn't WCH or HH has better chance beating BCL or CJ than Holland 3rd WS beating JYJ?

There are some who said LCW must win or it's over. I said bf in another thread, it may well hinge on Hafiz. % of LCw winning over in-form LD is not high.
The 2 MD must win, then it's up to uncle Wong & Hafiz. Hafiz has clinched winning pt for Msia before when it was down to the wire (forgot which TC)

So, I dont think it will be up to LCW to get the singles point nor will the team get demoralized if LCW lose to LD. Head to head is in favour of LD, 8 out of 11.

I thought Bao Bao has beat Uncle Wong twice this year (in MO and KO)??
Besides, look at Uncle Wong performance lately, lost to Wacha in AE, lost to Ayoob in SO, lost to CJ in ABC.

Too late for apology as damage already done, however, will still take your order :D
Anyway, the key is LCW vs Lin Dan, if Chong Wei manage to win or show outstanding fighting spirit then Malaysia is in business. Lets all gather tonight(USA time) and cheer for Malaysia thru BF!

Is the team event so previous head to head record may not play huge role like individual event. Once the spirit is raised then player may perform at higher than expected level like in TC2002. If Malaysia manage to level at 2-2 then Malaysia will have an edge as the "chee" is on our side. :D

Since there are no MAS or CHN players doubling up, so, the order will be as follows:
    1. Lee Chong Wei vs Lin Dan
    2. any combination (Koo Kien Keat/Choong Tan Fook could be fielded) vs Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun (China is restricted in using this pair as MD1).
    3. Wong Choong Hann or Mohd Hafiz Hashim vs Bao Chunlai
    4. any combination (would like to see Lee Wan Wah/Tan Boon Heong) vs Guo Zhendong/Xie Zhongbo (fielding Shen Ye/He Hanbin or any combination from the 4 players would be too risky).
    5. Mohd Hafiz Hashim or Mohd Arif Latif vs Chen Jin or Chen Yu.

Hmm, you're probably the only one that predict SSM can win the point against Simon.... :)

Unfair statement, you're "picking stone in the egg". To me, Peter Gade is also legendary even though he has yet to win the Olympic and World Championship. What about those old timers played before badminton was inducted into Olympic? I would consider Yang Yang, Morten Frost, Zhou Jianhua, Lim Swie King, Hartono, Park Jubong/Kim Moon Su and many others as legendary.
Lin Dan is cocky but he certainly qualify as legendary with or without Olympic title, IMHO!
