First of all, a smart person does not provoke a person/country who is more powerful than oneself... or with 1 billion people.

Has the comment offended anyone, you ask? Well... you bet the sarcastism in there probably upset at the very least some China top management.

If someone doesn't want to be known as the target, don't provoke them and make oneself known to be the TARGET.

Like I said, LCW should not provoke China, by basically telling them that he(LCW) should be the target for any kind of unfair judgment.

How does this incident relate to Lin Dan anyways?

Well, even if it does relate to Lin Dan.. then are you suggesting that LCW should do the same thing and post in his blog how LCW should be the winner of OG 08 even though he gets knocked out in the first round?:confused:

LCW told me he is from Bukit Mertajam. He kept mentioning a school named "Jit Sin" so I guess it must be famous there.

What are you talking about man? Are you suggesting Chinese people are this low? If indeed LCW gets critical unfair calls because of these words, than shame on my country, shame on me because I am part of that country. What a real Chinese should do, according to Confucius, should be trying his best to give LCW a totally unbiased tournament. Yi3Zhi2Bao4Yuan4.

On the other hand, it seems LCW's memory of China Open 07 is too sticky, not good for him. He should let it go.

    Hi all/bananakid,

Just wonder did the media really highlighted the last phrase he said? perhaps it might be in a different tone. And of course in this forum i think many people will favour different players. It is really not nice to give such a remark. I favour LCW and Taufik. So your comment above kind of a making me feel ....... Please think of other members of the forum before making such comments.

    hot,

Hi Eferata, u r right I'm totally agree with u. Did e media highlighted or interpret his (LCW) phrase in correct tone is e key point. Reader may understand and may not agree with what he (LCW) said if he/she not LCW fans is also the decisive factor on all the comments make. Hope all the others member can take note and think twice before making any comments.

There is no easy way to win that Olympic gold. Pressure is normal at the top.
