I just want to know where i can buy players shirts where's name on the back for example Peter Gade's or Chen Hong's shirt?
I dont think there is any shop in the world that legally sell players shirt.. If you want it, you have to ask it from the player personally, or buy off someone.
I also find this quite odd. In soccer or basketball, you can always purchase shirts from Nike, Adidas, Puma, and others, with the name of a sportsman. Why isn't it possible in badminton? And on another note, why isn't it possible to get your own name printed on a Yonex shirt? I'm quite sure it would make Yonex a lot of money if they started a service like that. Most times players would love to have their name on the back, in official Yonex font and style, including the Yonex logo. It would mean free ads for Yonex, but they still haven't got this service (as far as I know). Anyone want to share their insight on this matter?
Bing Go! That's what I was thinking about.. I mean, if Yonex sold more shirts with Lin Dan's name on the back, id buy heaps of those!
Maybe because it's too expensive to buy the equipment as your local badminton store. Badminton replica shirts will get nowhere the amount of sales as football shirts let alone the majority will be sold in the counterfeit capital/region of the world . Fake yonex replica Lin Dan shirts whoohoo . Stange thing is this has been asked more than once before but can't seem to find the old thread(s).
Still not the ones I was looking for but similar: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43384 http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24060 Two more but still not the one: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36638 http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11782
i think i saw some badminton shops in KL selling shirts with player's name on it. but i forgot which shop. may be it was in Campbell? magical_phoenix also found similar shop when she was in KL a few years ago. when i saw those shirts hanging in the shop, i burst out laughing. i think it was hilarious! i dont know why! haha!
Well, illegal or not... I'm still quite sure Yonex would make a good profit if they started selling (customised) shirts. If they put on a laser/flash logo on the bottom corner of the shirt (just as Umbro and Adidas do on their shirts), it would also make fake shirts much easier to spot. They could also put on a logo like the one on the rackets. Flash/flash/glittering.
you can always make your own jerseys and iron on your name + club etc...although if you're not actually in good standing or even IN your national team (or any others for that matter xD) i'd hesistate on putting a country's name on the back
here u go chk out dis thread ders a store where they sell original players tee wid their name & country + yy logo also they r even autographed
i remember seeing pictures of that store and all the autographed shirts in a thread here but i cant find that thread anymore.
Exactly, that's the one I was looking for as well ... (allegedly real player shirts sold at corresponding prices (expensive!) with "real"(?) signatures) Anyway the lettering material is the same as on football shirts in case you want to diy . Putting a Yonex logo on your back when your not even sponsored that's just one step too far . On a replica Lin Dan or whomever sure but under your own name ... (even country isn't mandatory in 90% of the tournaments if not more)
look no further haha i stumbled upon the thread and here we go just what we were all looking for the shop that sells the player shirts. real or not well i have no idea but some are signed but yeah found the post so here it is, you be the judge. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=683495&postcount=4
