Upset yet again as Wang Chen lost to Saina Nehwal. There goes my adopted country's hope of a Gold Medal in WS :crying: On the other hand, I wrote a couple of hrs ago that Saina Nehwal would make it an easier task for Maria Kristin to progress. I think Maria has a huge chance of entering the SF and meeting probably Zhang Ning yet again.

No He will not be bar for life just because he predict WMC will lose even though there are lots of malaysian fans.:) We are civilized people in this BC right? Here we can accept different opinions. But WMC will lose this afternoon? Not lightly!

exactly. BC members need to strive to be good fans, and good supporters. that means support your players and country, but more importantly, respect others who don't.

Surprised to see so many empty seats in a small 7500-seat stadium, even empty seats close to courtside, as it was announced that all seats are sold out....BCL played well and very fit but looks err.....lean and muscular in sleeveless yellow tee, red pants, black and white soaks...but a little bit too fair skin like a 'bak cham kai'...if the game unfolds as expected, BCL would not have it easy with Wascha and LHI and then SDK/LCW:D:p

This has been an excellent Olympics - typical of previous editions. Maeda/Suetsuna, who I last saw was out of sorts in Jakarta, beat the reigning champs and hence guaranteed there will not be a clean sweep of WD event medals.

Maria and Saina, both will fight for a single spot in the medal rounds. Based on efforts alone, both of 'em deserve it.
