Dont be too overly excited about Bill Gates comment on badminton. He also said the similar things to other sports as well.

Well, either the Gateses are trying out different sports to see which one they really like or they're just casual spectators. Someone in the know should quickly seed the sponsorship $$$ thing in his mind while the iron's hot.

    (BTW cooler, it's Athens ;):p)

Actually, he had wanted to watch basketball.
Then someone told him 'The President is there'.

Er, the badminton venue was just around the block.

Sure, only 10 miles from where I live...

I have not heard Bill Gates participating in any sports actively besides Bridge
(if you call it sport), unlike Paul Allen (who owns NBA and NFL teams) and Steve Ballmer (avid Basketball player).

ProClub where many Microsoft employees are members does have badminton
program (3 or 4 times a week with 8 courts and always crowded).

Yes, the Bill Gates watching badminton side news is quite interesting...

..since you guys broke it already, i'll just post another picture of him and Mr. Bush and their families...;)
Boy, do i see Laura Bush looking bored as hell or what, trying to watch the sport. Although Mr. Bush, looks quite interested, or was he trying to stay awake???.. :p;)
