Can you give a more detail instruction of watching it on NBC? I don't want to miss the final :crying:
I'm using firefox with silverlight but i have to change proxy every 30 mins.....it's not the smoothest way but at least working
Why is doo you have to download ultrasurf so many times...doesn't it stay on your comp? Just my personal experience with it. Like it works, but I dunno why I can't find it again after I exit it, and I dunno why I have to keep downloading it.
this sucks, ive been watching all of the matches on NBC using a US proxy, but now it says that i have to be in the US to watch the matches. can anyone give me a new proxy setting that would work??
Oh and one more question....NBC saves their live broadcasts right? I saw yesterday's matches up for viewing today so I'm guessing it's true?
It works!!! Hey all, i just tried and now it works!! What you do is: 1. Download Microsoft Silverlight 2. Ultrasurf 9.0 Then just watch!! Hope it works for all of you!!
Yep. You can view any of the matches by clicking "Rewind" on the Results/Schedules page. It's so nice, because it goes directly to the start of the match - normally searching in Silverlight is a pain because the videos are so disorganized. Without this feature I'd have to wake up at 4:30 am to watch some of the matches. *shivers*
I am from Indonesia, who probably can watch the badminton live today via TVRI. If you wanted to watch via NBC Olympic, here what you can do. Go to NBC Olympic and download Microsoft Silver LIght and install it. Then you also had to download Ultra Surf 9 here: http://www.ultrareach.com/ After that closed all Internet Explorer. Click the Ultra Surf icon. THen go to NBC Olympic site. Search for badminton sports. Click the video or live video you wanted to see. Enter this: Zip Code: 94541 TV Provider: DirecTV -> San Francisco -> NBC 11 And just enjoyed. I already watch all my fav badminton and tennis videos.

i want to ask some queston here... why is it malaysia astro doesnt show the high definitions quality live badminton matches?? but nbc is broadcasting it in high definitions quality though.. some more got livestreaming.
Is not that simple, first Astro has to provide HD box and allocate the same program into seperate channels, one for regular and one for HD. There are lots of money involved to upgrade their equipments. Having say that, moving to HD seems unavoidable. In US, lots of household already have HDTV plus mandate from the government hence pressuring the providers to accelerate the process. Even our so call advance neighbour Singapore still not migrating to HD yet? I think only Japan has HD available in Asia? HD image is fantastic, the image is so crystal clear and I never thought badminton can look that good before. I think if enough customers raise the issue to Astro then HD will happen but expect to pay more, much more.
NBC rocks, in its web-technology that is. Maybe thanks to Microsoft. Its commentators still suck. I am watching (again) the MS final on TV. One of the commentators keeps calling LCW as "Lee Chong"
Did anyone else experience a GE commercial at match point only to come back from commercial to find that the match was over? that happened to me on two different occasions.
anyone know the feedback email for nbc? we should all thank them for providing such great service for fans. the coverage is perfect. it shows every single match LIVE, as well as provide zero commentary, which allow us to enjoy the matches fully without annoying commentator spoiling it.
is it wise for non-amercans to send positive comments to nbc? I don't want it end up shuting us out with smarter filter in the next olympic
There is an online survey. It is for NBCOlympics.com in general. I completed mine but forgot to save the link Let's keep looking. Worst case, we can contact the local NBC stations. We should do that too in the Bay Area. Knowing there are many badminton fans here may increase coverage of local events/tournaments.
OK. Got it on http://www.nbc.com/Footer/Contact_Us. Email address is nbcolympicsfeedback@nbcuni.com For the SF Bay Area, use this link, http://www.nbc11.com/contactus/index.html
