    1) let me enlighten and open up ur mind a bit. is really simple if u can think abt it a bit more.
even though u know u can whack n kill the wild boar easily, but it is much easier and less risky if u setup a trap to make the wild boar complacent, soft, confused. after which, the kill is much easier without wasting much energy.

    2) yes, all of us must be happy for lee c w bcos
    - he did try his best.
    - he showed the world what a greatest player lin dan is.

Although I was sad to see how LCW was somehow easily dismantled of all his armoury and skills by the great Dan at a time when it counted most, I am also happy for him for securing the rare silver medal for Malaysia.

No Malaysian MS has achieved this distinction in the Olympics. Rashid only got the bronze and that was many years ago!

So Malaysians should celebrate and treasure LCW's win and consider the reward the government has promised as just incentive for all the hard work and sacrifice that LCW has undergone to achieve this glory for Malaysia. The entire world now knows Malaysia better, particularly of her badminton prowess and this publicity is invaluable!

LCW deserves his rewards and accolades. Do shower him aplenty!

    CONGRATULATIONS CHONG WEI!

Let's hope BAM has groom better players to backup Lee, after Wong Choong Hann retires. Becoz apart from Lee, Hafiz cannot be harap (counted upon).

Managed to see Tan Chung Seang and Arif played. Chung Seang looks pretty good...very Ah Beng Kia (bad boy attitude) like Lin Dan and is also a lefty.
Arif has Lee's quickness and stamina but attack is kinda lacking.

Hopefully we see less of Hafiz and more of Chung Seang and Arif.

I noticed that Lin Dan was alot faster & did not make many errors. He anticipated all of Lee Chong Wei's shots & was able to cover the whole court easily.

Lee Chong Wei played alot better than normal! He played shots that i could'nt even believe he could of done. He just needs to cut down the unforced errors & work on picking up pace & a bit on defense as he had trouble keeping up with Lin Dan's speed.

This match was like no other. Speed, Power, Mental Strength was at both players limit. Rallies went longer, the game was alot faster when comparing with other matches. This singles game was as fast as a doubles.

If Lee CW competes in the upcoming Japan SS, he'll have a chance to avenge his loss against Super Dan!

OG has no points, LD's points from last year are expiring, and he hasn't competed for a while.

The real reason was the ranking points from BWF is just hilarious. LD lost 12.000 points from World Championship last year. He gained 12.000 from winning OG. so he gain nothing.

Meanwhile LCW lost around 6000 as QF in WC 2007 but he gained 10800 from winning silver OG. So he had a 4000 plus points. Cause both of them had very closed score, LCW is number one.

But BWF at least had to fixed the point rankings. Cause a winner in any event only get 10% more than a runner up. How weird. It will be more fair if winner get 25% more than a runner up in ranking points.

Why LCW was slaughtered by LD in the final game? Would it really because of pressure and LD' 'God Mode' in that game? Or probably there's some hiding things??
