Pathetic draw, even at q-final level, there are walkovers and a few got free ticket to semis.

    MEN'S SINGLES QF
Taufik Hidayat [7] vs Bao Chunlai [3] -- like ctjcad mentioned in the other thread, call me if Taufik can beat Bao.

Sony Dwi Kuncoro [5] vs Qiu Yanbo -- a potential banana-skin here, but, I think Sony can handle the young CHN player.

    MEN'S DOUBLES
    Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan
[1] vs Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan -- the first meeting between the two brothers, Bona and Kido. There's no way the older brother will let the young one win today.

Hendra A. Gunawan/Joko Riyadi vs Khoo Chung Chiat/Tan Bin Shen -- AG/Joko did a good job yesterday, but, can they go one more step and achieve their best result in a year (SF Finish).

Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki [8] vs Sun Junjie/Xu Chen -- a tricky match for Rian/Yoke. But, I think they can prevail.

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES
Cheng Shu/Zhao Yunlei vs Vita Marissa/Liliyana Natsir [3] -- if Vita/Butet can beat the tricky CHN pair, I think they can walk away with the title. But, it will be a tough match.

    MIXED DOUBLES
    Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir
[1] vs Shen Ye/Pan Pan -- tricky, but manageable for the World Champions.

Sudket Prapakamol/Saralee Thoungthongkam [4] vs Mohd Rijal/Vita Marissa [6] -- a tough match for Rijal/Vita...and I hope they can win this one to set up yet another match against Nova/Butet.

Flandy Limpele/Greysia Polii [5] vs He Hanbin/Yu Yang [2] -- ditto for Flandy/Grace, with the CHN Olympics bronze-medallist holding the edge.

Even WD discipline is only attended by 8 pairs, unbelievable! With CHN top two seed withdrawal, surely Vita/Lilyana have huge chance to defend title here.

poor MAS MD, sending the biggest squad but only 2 pairs left in QF.
and those 2 pairs probably will end today, tough match
i think MAS WD rather has chance to beat zhang/zhang....

interesting match will be TH vs BCL (hope TH will win it,fyi : TH only can win 3 of 9 clashes with BCL)

all the best for INA team, brings victory to cheer up Lebaran, but unfortunately i can't join this forum for any longer coz i will be "MUDIK" this afternoon

The most disappointing one is MD section.
8 pairs sent, only 2 in QF. One got bye, while one won a MAS derby.
Sorry for being harsh, but I should call it...total failure.

Yes, it was but u r not in the postition to judge.

U can celebrate your own victories but never criticize on others' failures.

Hmmm? Judging? I simply stated my opinion. None in my posts saying that MAS players played poorly, should be split, and others (those are 'judging' for me). Nor celebrating MAS' defeats. Is that wrong?

8 pairs. I hoped something better from them. After all, MAS is one of INA's strongest rival in badminton. Strong opponents are good friends.

But I'll consider that. And, yes, I'm sorry for that seemingly arrogant judging.
    My fault.
