Good for badminton to see another country on the list. Lots of drama these last two days with Uber and Thomas cup
Steen is loved by the Indonesian fans. So he is acting sad after the 3-0 loss. Must be hard for him. Let's gooooo India.
I dont think they delayed that much. youre just seeing it more. their talk is of 5 sec which most players take anyways.
Congratulations to India for winning their first Thomas Cup, and what a way to do it! Comeback win against Malaysia in QF, winning against tournament favourite DEN and finally beating the reigning defending champs INA 3-0. And what a comeback/success story for KS, having to face so many disappointments over the years including the lost in the Final of World Championships against Loh Kean Yew to winning every match culminating in the win that brings the glory to his country. *clap clap*
Who would have thought before the start that of all the teams India will be that last one standing. The way the fortunes fluctuated in the first 2 matches perhaps it was destiny. Great team effort. Congratulations team India and Indonesia for putting up a great fight. Hopefully this win will boost the morale and the confidence of all the players in the Indian camp to work hard and do well. There's a lot of issues which needs to be addressed but for now let's enjoy the victory. What a weekend we are having. Congratulations everyone.
Agreed but I was more pessimistic. I was afraid KS would choke at MS2, India would then have lesser chance. But today he's the hero. Congrats the team again!!!
Ohh Indians are one of the most complex species. Some of Indians don't drink. Other is divided into two groups- one who drinks openly without fear of society and others who drink but in secret. I come in the second category lol.
Just wow. Dream India win and celebrations! Both teams fought to the last point almost every game in each match was close. Glad Indonesia were in the final with them so much respect for their players too. Hope this gives boost for India badminton and in turn hope India helps boost badminton's popularity.
