    Another poor Danish performance..

Eriksen/schjoldager are also down.. but that's against the young pair of Mathias Boe and Helle Nielsen.. it would be quite promising for the future if they could already beat Eriksen/Schjolager..

I'm not surprised with this man's persistence, durability, and fitness as he has shown all these qualities in the past when he beat shuttlers ranked higher than himself. I was surprised, though, that he now ranks that low in the world.

Anders Boesen is a strange player. He is a true fighter, and never gives up. He has a very high "best level". However, his playing style is physically very demanding (he is a typical "runner") and he usually doesn't perform 100% in more than one match in each tournament. My guess is that this was that match... ;)

Some surprising results in mixed doubles: only two seeded pairs remain!

    Whoa -- Laybourn/Steffensen won 1st game 15-11 against Eriksen/Lundgaard!

But the elders seem to have warmed up now, they have the lead 3-0 in 2nd...
    :D

Who won the semi finals in the mixed doubles? I saw Chen/Zhao won the first game 15-13 and Robertson/Emmes won the first game 15-11, but I had to leave after that. Did those 2 teams won their respective match?

Chinadoll, yeah the site aburptly left the scoring after the 2nd set. That usually means one of the players quit do to injury. Seeing as how LIN easily won set two I'm assuming KJ got injured and retired from the match.

Perhaps one of our Danish friends can confrim that.

There's something wrong with the results..According to the livescore,
1st set was 17-16 to Kenneth, 2nd set 15-3 to LD and then the match stopped.
So, I dunno who is the winner

I'm Danish, but I know nothing more than you do regarding the outcome of the Jonassen match.

Nothing is mentioned on the tournament web-site, and there are no reports in Danish media.
