The lost-even-before-match-begun award: KKK/WPT. WPT looks as if she just wants to get it over with. The most beautiful game award: LCW in the first set and part of second set. The mental breakdown award: LCW. The comeback award: KJ. 0-5, 8-12, 12-14 in the second set. The spirit of the day: the Thai pair S/S who at many instances made Yang/Zhang look amateurish. The horn-blower of the day: Loh. Believe me, I sat next to him. The sleeper of the day: Loh. Slept during the first MS game and missed all that fun. And amidst all that racket, too. And not forgetting the cutest gal of the day: Zhou Mi.
Not really. I enjoyed it. The crowd was pretty funny with chants and counter-chants from fans of both LCW and KJ. At the end, we get to take a picture with Jonas Rasmussen.

What about the best defensive save of the tournament? What about the best defensive save shot of the tournament? If Lin Dan was around, he will most likely get this award for his dives. KJ did some nice defensive saves in 3rd set. What about others?
to Loh's defense and credit, he have had a busy weekend helping out with organizing the BC'er meeting, from helping out with goodies bags to chasing after the officials and putting up banners, to playing badminton and then sitting there taking photos and cheering. it was fun but also exhausting!
There were a lot of round-the-back defensive saves, especially in the men's doubles. Saw Hafiz pulled one or two against KJ. But the one that sticks to mind is KKK's defence when he is down on his backside. Why does he keep doing those? His sense of positioning must be bad for him to have to keep diving. KJ's defence is always good.
