Seems like the physical preparation in the Japanese camp is again spot on. Always injured/tired for the big titles and games.
Yeah just look at the stark contrast with Sapsiree. Played over 50 matches in the last three months and still going.
Light smash is the new smexy just like AA yesterday Anyway I don't believe in the tight schedule theory
wonder how long yuta has been carrying that injury.. I remember the commentators were noticing something was off with him back in Bali too the scheduling for these matches are horrible
Everyone is injured or out of form for the Olympics. Momota is run into the ground systematically post comeback, now Watanabe is injured. There are obviously major issues when it comes to preparation and planning in the Japanese team that have very little to do with the players.
It will be stupid to go india considering the pollution and the politics inside it. Unless the money is super good than what is paid now. No point mentioning. Only newby desparate coaches will go.
Pardon me! I misread that as a sarcastic/light jab comment at Yuta. Perhaps there’s some truce to the team/coaches pushing JPN players too much. It started with Hirota, then Momota, and now Yuta. Edit: I think Nagahara was also out for a while due to injury after Olympic. Her partner, Matsumoto, paired up with Fukushima in Sudirman/Uber Cup.
Massively disappointed for Watanabe/Higashino today, who were not able to compete at 100%. I hope Watanabe can recover fast and have another run at the World Championship next year. Perhaps he can put mpre focus on mixed doubles while he waits for his new MD partner?
Yama under dog. If she can pull long rallies like agains asy, tty will crumble. Older and less stamina.
Man, I was expecting to see CM giving out the medal for all discipline But let's see if she comes out for WS
