Shall we start a countdown until Yonex will have this thread removed too? Oh wait... we need some remotely negative comments regarding the missing 3Us and suspicions about their posterboys and girls not using the real thing in reality. EDIT: Okay, I guess we have passed the crucial date since they have indeed added the Nanoflare series to the website. So fasten your seatbelts, the Nanoflare plane is about to start for real this time!
Looking at the overwhelming amount of response in here, it seems that along with the threads, they managed to delete most of the interest amongst BC members as well. That's a marketing fail by the book, well done.
by the way, what is known on real world specification of the racket, like weight in grams, balance in mm, relative stiffness?
They didn't even bother putting line breaks in the descriptions for the new technologies they're using. They spent more time shutting down threads than marketing Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Well, as long as you can't buy the racket, you should overlook that... My first impression is that its profile is similar to the Victor Jetspeed 12/11.
Everybody who has a last 4U NR700FX in his bag and can't find a replacement will cheer "Yea" for the Nanoflare 700. The rest don't care what it will be. IMO very boring thing to start a new series especially due the fact of no 3U.
Yeah, I'm rarely a fan of the first racket that comes out in a line as well. Whatever 7xx it is, being a duora, astrox, nanoray, voltric, and even arcsaber, it's rarely the top end. I almost always wait till the 9xx gets released, or a z-something (strike, force, speed) comes out. The Z's are usually above the 9xx's. But, we'll going to have to wait until real reviews come out.
they have diferent specs so it can't compare nanoflare 700 with the next "level" nanoflare, i have duora 10 but it doesnt fit for me,i prefer duora 7 or when im using astrox 99 its feel to heavy for me. btw just want to ask can you recomend me badminton store in HK ?i want to go there next month
is this real? UK variant? concept? bad lighting? https://www.centralsports.co.uk/products/yonex-nanoflare700-blue-2019-badminton-racket
Guys, seriously. What is going on with the Yonex marketing team here? This must be the most bloodless launch campaign ever. So they are actually promoting the racket to break the rules of physics when it comes to head weight and hitting power? And only by using a high quality 40T carbon fibre? Wow.. that is... so uninspired. And besides, if they say that their 40T carbon is not the latest and best sh*t in town, what cheap stuff were they using before? Cause hands down, a 40T or even 46T carbon is pretty much standard for a lot of other manufacturers.
Lung Tang Sports: Awesome owner. Very friendly and competent. Had a long chat with him instore. Many stuff. English no issue. Kin-Yee Sports: Awesome as well. Very competent as well. Many stuff as well and quality stringing jobs. English no issue. Luxis Sport: Small store. Heard only good things about it from @kwun and @Cheung. I was a bit disappointed, not very friendly/quiet, maybe busy or english issue. Also in same building of Lung Tang Sports: (IIRC one stairway below) There was also a shop as well. Didn't spend long inside. I recommend to go Mong Kok Station and you can visit 4 shop in short time. I also wanted to go to Mister Keen, but didn't had time. I can also recommend E78, but very small shop. You need to go to Diamond Hill. Depending who is there english can be a bit difficult.
This thin frame but wide thing made carlton a bunch of years ago. Mounting with load spreader was impossible. Hope Nanoflare isn't an issue to mount with load spreader and Chudeks.
"First thing you'll notice when you get this racket on court is that it's so good at the overhead clear." Yeah, right. Highly doubt that, given it's a 4U/5U head-light racket. Maybe, only maybe, if you compare it to other rackets of similar specs.
Both reviews are just saying things which complement the YY marketing. It's so obvious that I can't take them neutral without bias.
If Yonex expects me to buy their head-light series they need to offer them in 2U preferably or at least 3U
