Do you think he can still do well up until Rio 2016?

yeah he seems to be vey laid back on court lin dan, and that's why he has become more prone to losing to anyone as other players steps up when they play against him and if he will not give his cent percent, the opposition will prevail as did sugiarto.

I really wanted Lin Dan to win in this tournament but Tommy is just the better player today, hope Lin Dan will bounce back in the next tournament.

Lin Dan stumbled again, he asked for it. He's already not playing his trademark attacking game of yore, yet he has so many other distractions outside badminton when he should be spending more time and effort to perfect his new style of play.

i think he will give this second game to axelsen without much fight now and save energy for the decider, that only makes sense in such a situation.

One thing LD surely knows is to peak at the right moment. And the Rio Oly is the only thing that matters. The qualification period did not start yet and fans would like LD to be ready! If he tries to do well from now on he'll arrive in Rio burnt-out! Now is just warm up. I do not worry for him.

Nothing has happened. He will not be the LD we once knew anymore. To me he is now to badminton as Roger Federer is to tennis. Nobody can defy age.

I recall reading somewhere or may be GC's commentary that LD had knee effusion and had the fluid drained with injections. He still played china superseries and lost to srikanth. Since then, he seems to be a bit cautious. Lost to CL easily. Maybe he is taking it slowly and doesn't want to risk his chances for Rio.
