understandable since this is the only one still left (from just two on show today) with some "vested interest" for the host country :p and carry along with them some really good hope.

I'm not sure what else to say about the LD withdrawal fiasco. CBA has found another way to bring disrepute to a new level and screw the fans. From what I have read, LD could have swatted KT aside with impunity yet was instructed to "entertain" the crowd, and even more incredibly, pull the plug on the verge on victory. BULLSHYTE

BWF, do you know what balls are? Obviously not, you ain't got none.

    CL's main Forte

As everyone is gauging on CL's improvement due to his consecutive wins over LCW, his main forte is his commitment to dethrone the world no 1 and his interest is esctatic as can be seen by his euphoria when he gets to triumph over LCW. Many don't see his one sided track to solely beat LCW and in doing so really does not feel threatened by LCW's skills. That is his main forte.

CL may even lose to other players in time to come due to his over zealousness to beat LCW. He path to finals has been lucky and gifted with walkovers. What do you guys think?

I have an image of what balls are but it is not appropriate to post them here. But I really want to show it to them.

Having watched part of the LCW v CL match and some of the highlights interspersed during the breaks, I see a pattern emerging on where MAS coaches think CL's weakness is. LCW went to that shot a lot and even though it wasn't successful all the time kept persisting and did win quite a few points as a result.

I know I know, giving MAS coaches credit is out of fashion these days but LCW did have game plan and played to it. Also a few lucky net cords towards the end did no harm. As they say, when you work hard, you get the luck.

The Reason after LCW's Dive, he stays on the ground a few secs

While everyone knows the sound idea of running back to the centre court after every shot is in the badminton bible, the reason LCW stays put for a while or rather lying on the ground, is to ascertain where the returning shots go to. This is to reduce energy wastage in running to directions that are not in the direction of the returning shot ie the centre court.

Since you are already in an awkward position after having such a difficult retrieval, you have no time to waste running in useless directions. Time is of the utmost essential. Just look at the awe of the fans. How does he do it?

Yup, LCW's name is synonymous with 'working horse'.

80% is not bad although it should have been 90% because of the ... umm... incident

TTY got going too late against LXR. This was a tough one to gauge right off the bat and my choice was made in hopes of avoiding a CHN v CHN final.

I totally agree with you MADBAB. LCW should not take lightly when he go against CL, He should really put pressure on him, like today. Congrats to LCW...

I am curious. What was LD's reaction like to give the walkover moments from victory? How was his body language towards his coaches? What was the look on his face like? And lastly, the crowd reaction.

Believe me, I did not think that cobalt could do this until I saw LD retired.

I am extremely sorry to learn that you have been screwed(literally) by CBA:D. I think now you get to experience first hand the bitter taste suffered by LCW for so many years(mentally got screwed over by CBA, and $$$ as well):D:cool: .

P/S: This post is just intended as a friendly banter. Please don't take it seriously. However, I did sympathize your luck. Yes! piling on piling on! LOLs:D! Just joking madbad. Sorry, you know I don't get that many chances these days, so I went overbroad ^^.

Hehe, all in good fun. I'm starting to think cobalt is on the CBA payroll. Keep piling on the misery :p
