A local stringer said that it should take tension just like any other type of string, but my parents think that 15~17 lbs. is the proper tension for natural gut, since it's supposed to be a lot bouncier than normal strings. The stringer thinks that 15~17 lbs. is insane, though I have never specified a tension to him before.
